The room was clean and you felt very close to nature, which we appreciated for our stay in colombia. There were no insects or bugs. The garden was nice to relax after hike. The people Working there made our stay very comfortable, they were extremely kind and sweet. We did not have a car, but we took uber to cocora valley and to the coffee tour and then we returned to salento with willy.all in all it was very good

“A magical time in nature”

What a wonderful experience I had with my 2 best friends who were visiting from London here at Ecohotel Piedemonte. Juliana was amazing, making sure we had everything we needed and gave us the best tips of what to do locally. Our first day there was a lot of rain so we chose to head back to the hotel and use the spa facilities which were just beautiful. we had the Jacuzzi to ourselves after a very relaxing massage and we could hear the sounds of the river running underneath us. A beautiful place in the middle of nature and an incredible energy from Juliana and all staff. We also had dinner here one night and the pasta alfredo was delicious (and al dente!). We can't recommend Ecohotel Piedemonte enough, I'll definitely be back with my parents and my dog soon.

“A little gem immersed in nature”

A peaceful oasis immersed in nature perfect to relax and disconnect. The rooms are pretty and clean, the staff is lovely. We wish we could have stayed more.

Hotel was in quite area a bit far away from town but if you like quite place this is yours place. I liked Spa and tasty breakfast and two dogs around, what I really appreciated was for wash and dry my clothes. Thank you!!

The property is beautifully located and incredibly quiet – you can only hear the sounds of nature and the nearby river. It’s a wonderful place to relax and unwind. On our first night, due to a booking mistake on our side, we stayed in a different, larger room – luckily so, because it was absolutely beautiful! The following two nights in the regular double room were also very pleasant. The bed was comfortable, the room well equipped, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It takes only about three minutes to walk to the main road, where you can catch the bus to Salento. We felt well connected, even though we weren’t directly in the touristy area – perfect for enjoying both the nature and Salento in a relaxed way. We really enjoyed our time there and had no negative experiences. We’d love to come back! 🌿

The cabana was very nice, just like in the pictures. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is good. The owners are friendly and very helpful with making plans. I found the location great for relaxing but keep in mind that it is not in Salento but a short drive away (you can take the bus). If you prefer staying in town until late, this is probably not the best place for you. That said, their restaurant is great, you can get a massage, and enjoy a glass of wine on your balcony, while listening to the sound of nature in the evenings, so there are things to do. I would stay again!

“Excellent stay, perfect for relaxation!”

The location was perfect, full with nature and ideal for relaxation. The staff were incredible, they waited for us to complete check in late night even when the check in time passed a bit. The breakfast was great.

Amazing location and ambient area, listening to the river at night was mesmerising, the staff were so great and kind and very helpful. It makes you calm a lot! I hope someday I can come back :)

A beautiful property a couple of miles out of Salento. We had a 2 bed property so plenty of space for us as a family of 4. Buses run along the main road regularly which you can hop on to. Salento is a beautiful place and we went in every day of our 3 days. There is a great waterfall walk from the door which included waterfalls, caves and wobbly bridges which we also really enjoyed.

The location is perfect! It is quiet with a wonderful garden and walking distance to the Santa Rita waterfall and a few local restaurants. Very friendly staff and remember to look for the hummingbirds that are passing by regularly.
