The property was well located with easy access to the town and the room was spacious.

We absolutely loved staying at Case de la Ciencia, it felt more like staying with a family member than a private accommodation. The facilities were excellent and our host could not have been more helpful for giving us a great stay in Salento

“Very unique place!”

It’s not comfortable and nice…this place is very interesting! Like an small archeological museu full of pre-spanish era staff. It’s really special!

Really nice and clean room - pictures don’t do it justice. Warm shower and owner is really nice and helpful even if you don’t speak great Spanish.

- location fabulous, literally couple mins walk into the main strip - kitchen fully equipped and very useful! Massive area to sit down and eat / chill on the balcony / sofa and chairs if you want to sit somewhere beside your room - beds are really comfortable and fab pillows! Also provided an extra blanket which was cosy as it does get chilly at night - hot water in shower 🙌🏽 few places we’ve been in Colombia seem to offer this 😂 also TV in every room - fantastic value - lady running the place is such a sweetheart, very welcoming (( There’s a huge room on the floor which opens up to the balcony (in hindsight we wish we’d asked to change to this room so a little tip for you!) ))

“Better options elsewhere”

My first experience here wasn’t great. I had requested an extra night through the app, and it was initially confirmed. However, when I arrived, I was told I could only stay for two nights because Booking.com hadn’t updated my request. While this might not have been the hostel’s fault, I didn’t feel they were very sympathetic or helpful, especially since everywhere else in town was fully booked. The hostel itself is okay. The upstairs area with the kitchen and seating is actually quite nice, but the downstairs, where many of the rooms are, feels dark and uninviting. In the room, there’s a big gap above the door, so you can hear everything happening outside, which doesn’t offer much privacy. The bed was comfortable, but the shower barely had warm water. In the end, I found another place in town for just £5 more per night. It was much nicer and even included breakfast.

“Just perfect for short and long stays in Salento”

Just perfect! The best place we stayed in Colombia. A new modern house where everything works (it is not common here). Big comfortable bed, furniture, bathroom with hot water, very big completly equiped kitchen and huge and elegant sitting room, very good internet. They have 7 rooms with private bathrooms. A garden around and a nice terrasse with hamack and table where you can see the sunset. The house is managed by a charming old lady, helpful but not intrusive. The street is in the center but very quiet. It is just perfect for a short stay but ideal for digital nomads.

The location is perfect to catch the bus to Cocora Valley. The lady who runs the hotel is very nice and full of useful information.

We had a generous room with a clean private bath. We liked the location as it was close to the center but still quite in the night. The double bed was huge and comfortable. We've been allowed to use the kitchen which was great for us as well.

The owner is an absolutely lovely older lady, who was very hospitable. The communal spaces upstairs were lovely - well equipped kitchen, large dining table, comfortable sofas and a nice terrace with a hammock. This area got a lot of light and waa a nice place to relax. Great value for money.
