“Value for money.”
An 8 might be a bit of a high rating, but it's a decent hotel. All basic needs are met and well-maintained. The staff very was friendly and helpful. The room met all expectations. Comfortable beds. Sufficient charging facilities for all electronics. A good and quiet refrigerator and air conditioning.

“I’ll be staying at the Hampton Inn next time I pass through Salem.”
Average for an inexpensive motel. However, there was no butter or cream cheese on the breakfast buffet. Even more annoying was the fact that there were no lids for the coffee cups so you couldn’t take a cup of their cheap, weak coffee on the road when you left.
