We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Salad Hut! Rooms, restaurant, and facilities are beautiful, food was great, but the part that stood out most and made this place a true gem is the absolutely amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful! We went with our 1-year old baby and they took such good care, played with him and made him and us enjoy our holiday extra much! There is a good mix of different groups but the place is clearly very popular with families and we understand why.

Everything from the rooms and grounds, maintenance, decor, the restaurant 10/10, staff were the friendliest we’ve encountered in Thailand. We actually stumbled upon this place accidentally walking along the beach looking for a restaurant and fell in love (then decided to book as our next stay!). Super comfortable atmosphere, and very welcoming staff. We’re coming back next year

We loooooved Salad Hut. The location and facilities were spectacular, the staff were gorgeous, the food was delicious. We appreciated the little attention to detail- the pool toys that were available for our kids to play with, the free hire of kayaks and paddle boards, the attentiveness of staff to our children. We’ll be back for sure

Salad hut is incredible. You're right on the beach with incredible views, the staff are lovely (Neal especially), the food is delicious and reasonably priced and the turndown service is rapid (we always came back from breakfast to find it was already done). There's a small convenience store nearby with all the bits and bobs you might need, plus a few other restaurants, massage places and an atm. But you'll want a scooter or taxi to get anywhere else, so keep that in mind. We spent most of our time simply enjoying salad beach and the location though. It's also definitely a favourite for younger families and has a cosy vibe for that.

Nothing to fault. We were a family of 5 (3 young boys) on a mini back pack trip. Salad Hut was our second stop of four and the best of them all (other stops were Samui, Koh Tao and Bangkok). Salad Hut is one of about 10 small resorts/hotels on a very small beach. The resort itself is literally on the beach - small and intimate but with everything you need. The huts themselves were beautiful and spacious. We had the standard one bedroom hut which had 2 large beds and they provided an additional bed. Large Smart TV also kept our boys entertained before bedtime. Reach room also has a large balcony area with large day bed and hammock. They have a beautiful restaurant/bar area that is perfect for chilling or playing cards or playing pool etc. the resort itself is small and intimate which was perfect for us as our boys could roam around wherever they wanted - whether that be on the beach, the pool, the restaurant or the room balcony it didn’t matter as they were always in sight. The sea was very shallow so you can walk about about 100m. They also have kayaks that you can use without charge which was a nice touch. The staff were absolutely amazing - the most friendliest bunch of people you could imagine. Restaurant food was very nice and not overly expensive. Breakfast was fairly limited in choice but more than sufficient. There are many restaurants on the beach which also serve great food. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and have no hesitation recommending this to anyone.

“Perfect Site for the family!”

Perfect for traveling with the Family. The Pool is close to the houses as well as to the restaurant, so the kids were swimming until the food was on the table. The personal were very friendly and made friends with my kids. The Place is very calm, so we rent a scooter for the time being to travel through the island.

The location is stunning, set in a gorgeous bay right on the beach with views out across the pool and ocean! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious!

The staff (reception/restaurant) was amazing: perfect combination between being professional and laidback. The best value for money I have experienced lately. Resort is cute and beautiful. Bungallows and their facilities are simple but cover all needs.

“A gem and must-visit for kid-friendly travelers”

What a cozy hide-away! We loved it! The bungalows were very clean and well maintained, as was the whole resort. The beach right in front of the resort is super clean, not one piece plastic and wonderful for the kids to play. The whole team was so nice!! Super friendly, fun, and patient with kids running around. They even played with them or played the guitar while the kids sang along. Also, full 10 points out of 10 for the best food on the island!! I admit that I was expecting more of the island Kho Pha-Ngan but found it quite unspectacular, also with too many cannabis stores especially around Thong Sala. But this little gem “Salad Hut” in the northern part was the perfect place to stay and made all up to it. We stayed 6 nights, which I think is enough, and it is also definitely a tip to rent a motorbike and explore the island (we liked much the elephant sanctuary and the waterfall hike in the jungle). We also did ride the bike with our little daughter (3 yrs), the traffic is rather slow with 30 km/h max and we had a helmet for her and kept her in between us in the middle. So overall, if you consider going to Kho Phangan, this place is a must stay or even just a must visit for amazing food and chilling at their wonderful beach bar terrace.

Wonderful well maintained bungalows right on the beach. Spacious room and bathroom, very clean, comfortable beds, veranda. Big nice pool, daily cleaned. Restaurant with direct beach view, very good food. Extraordinarily friendly and helpful staff, attentive, giving tips and organising transfers. 2 kayaks free to use. Swimming in the sea very good during our stay in September, deep enough, highest tide early afternoon, water very clear. Thank you for the so enjoyable time at your place!
