“Magic place in the island”

I don't know where to start to describe the amazing experience we had at Praia Cabral apartment. I had a feeling when I saw the pictures and read the decription that it would be a great stay, but it went beyond my expectations. The apartment it beautiful, very big, super comfortable. One detail that I always appreciate and I rarely find it when I travel is a comfortable mattress, and this apartment has great ones, that make your sleep in the magic island even better. The windows in the different corners and the very large glass door of the terrace ensure constant ventilation. There is everything you need in case you want to cook, and the space is simply very well organised. Of course, the terrace is the best part, I could have spent my entire holiday there, just looking at the ocean, the sun, the donkeys, the people chilling. But I didn't :-D just to make the best out of my time, explore the island and - best of the best - have a one day tour from North to East with Frank, who is not only the best host but also the best guide and driver. He knows so many incredible details of every corner of the island, and from different perspective, cultural, historic, natural, sportive (if you like surf, it's a must). I don't know how his brain has such an incredible memory. Alma Creola has been also a great place during our stay, from breakfast through lunch and dinners, and also apero with the best natural one from Cape Verde. All has been beyond my expectations and absolutely special.

“Recommended if you want to stay in the quiet part of Sal Rei”

The place is located in a quiet living area, a 10 min footwalk away to the city center or harbour for the whale watching. The view of the apartment balcony towards the ocean. It was an ok stay for the two nights we spend there. The owner was very present and communicative.

The location is wonderful: stunning view, pleasantly quiet and very spacious. You can have breakfast at the landlord‘s Café/Restaurant „Alma Criola“ nearby (maybe 1 Minute away;). The dishes offered there are outstanding and served creole style. The landlord offers sightseeingtours to explore the Island. He could tell a lot about the history and you‘ll visit places, you wouldn‘t have seen otherwise. Very lovely tour!
