Overview
This rustic cottage is situated 400 metres from Lake Pyhäjärvi. It includes a private sauna, a brick fireplace and natural wood interiors. Säkylä town centre is a 15-minute drive away. A seating area, TV and a wooden dining bench are featured in the living room at Forest Cottage. It has a terrace and a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, fridge and coffee maker. All beds are on the sleeping loft. Guests can go hiking in the surrounding forest. Bicycles can be borrowed for free at Forest Cottage. Parking is possible at the property. Säkylä town centre is a 10-minute drive away, while hiking and skiing trails can be found at Säkylänharju approximately 10km away. Lake Pyhäjärvi is popular for fishing.

“A great Finnish cottage in the forest”
Quiet and beautiful place in the forest. Clean. Enough space for a larger group. Well equipped kitchen. Sleeping places are on the second floor. You have to walk 10 minutes to the swimming place, but it is great. I recommend.

Very beautiful and calm location. Everything was clean and the house had all the equipment you could need for a weekend getaway. Lots of games and activities for children.

“Highly recommended for friend groups!”
Many beds for friend group, second floor for sleeping, first floor for socializing and eating. Nice kitchen to prepare meals. The sauna was also traditional and warm! The host was really kind and welcoming our dog.

Perfect cottage in a quiet forest. Plenty of privacy. Equipped with everything you'll ever need. Big kitchen, spacious living room and on the second floor sleeping area, authentic woodfire sauna.

The place was amazing, it looked better than in the photos, in the middle of a welcoming forest, very close to the lake, great sauna, great barbecue, kitchen equipped with all necessary items. If you are a foreigner looking for the Finnish cottage experience in a nutshell, this is the perfect place.
