“The perfect way to stay in Sakurajima without being caught in tourist traps.”
The staff and management were very warm and accommodating. The location was exceptional. The family onsen was a delightful surprise. The view of Kinko bay is unmatched. And we saw the plume from our room!

“Pleasant Stay”
The room was a lovely size. The view of both the ocean and the volcano were spectacular. The facilities were a bit dated but that added character to the stay.

“My family is from Sakurajima and this feels like home.”
This is as Japanese as accommodation gets and is a unique experience that is no longer that commonly available. From the home prepared Nihon Shokuji for dinner to sitting in the outdoor bath in the rain - a true Kyushu experience.

“Good, lobby has a foreign language speaking manager”
The quilt is thin & suitable, this is very important as other hotel's are too thick, too hot to sleep. And room view is great

The staff are so nice, the food is amazing and the sea view is spectacular, I just love the feel and the smell of a traditional room.
