this place is super cool. you get to bathe in the onsen complimentary with the hotel in a private room. the whole place feels very suited for japanese people but was very accommodating for foreigners. would stay again. there’s a nice park outside with a onsen footpath during the day as well which is a nice touch. you can easily walk to the lawson / family mart too.

The location is good, right next to the marina. The park is next door. Convenience store is right on the doorstep and there is a large supermarket opposite the hotel. Friendly staff. The onsen was very comfortable.

“A VERY great place to stay in!”
Room are VERY spacious..staff is fantastic. Authentic dinners and breakfast, served perfectly. The view from the room, eith HUGE windows, was insane. everyone were super kind and the onsen, wow! We enjoyed it very much

The hotel is located right next to Sakurajima volcano. It is that type of 70s accomodation though the building looks more modern from the outside. But everything interiour is tip top and ultra clean. The rooms have high ceilings and are very spacious. With huge beds and incredibly large windows facing Kagoshima. Take a seat, have a beer and enjoy the Kagoshima skyline after sunset. Right in front of the hotel you find that famous foot onsen. Inside we enjoyed the hotel's onsen with hot sulfuric salty water. And we loved it! At the hotel you can rent e-bikes. These bicycles are top notch and available at a good price. Never had a better bicycle at a hotel! All in all we loved this hotel. The staff was really nice.

“Great place - awesome views - amazing experience at the foot of a volcano!”
I booked without realising we will live by an active volcano 🌋 😅 But it turned out to be an amazing stay and despite being a bit nervous about the fumes coming from the craters of Sakurajima, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a bit old school, probably due to the time when it was built, but is very nice and clean. We had a big tatami room which I totally recommend to anyone. The futon beds were very comfortable 😌 We could enjoy an onsite onsen which was spacious and had a super hot bath, hot bath, cold bath, a sauna, and many showers. In women's onsen there was a fantastic shampoo available which I also bought at the hotel shop because it was exactly that good. 😀 The view from the hotel on Kagoshima Bay was just amazing. Loved it. The ferry to Kagoshima is around 5 min walking and costs just 200 Y for an adult. Around there was a very nice A-coop shpermarket, as well as a car wash and Lawson. Overall I really recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling to this area. I now want to come back in summer.
