The air conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding. Rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator. All rooms come with a safety deposit box, an electric kettle and a green tea set. Guests at Itaniya Ryokan can purchase souvenirs at the gift shop or enjoy a match of table tennis at a surcharge. Japanese dishes featuring seasonal ingredients are served in a traditional Kaiseki style for dinner. We stayed at this cozy ryokan and had a very nice time. Delicious dinner and breakfast and also very nice and helpful people. Enjoyed the onsen and also went to the temple for the morning ceremony.

“Old and charming but not very comfortable”
This place is old but charming and in a good location. The people who run it are friendly but no English is spoken. The onsen is actually really big and nice.
