The place was spacious, very clean, warm, and quiet, which made it extremely comfortable. Everything was well maintained and felt welcoming. I had a very good night’s sleep, and the host was kind, helpful, and very friendly.

Nice and quiet, rural area with parking, ideal at the end of a long drive

The host's customer skills need more thought. She left a code for the key lock box, but had switched us into another apartment at a different house number next door and didn't advise us of the new house street number, which caused us difficulties. We sorted this by phone with the host, got the keys and and opened the new apartment. We booked the original apartment because it was advertised as having a garden and we have dogs. The new apartment was nicer but had no garden and the door opened directly onto the road, which was not what we wanted. We spoke by phone and the host agreed to switch us back to the garden flat, and came there within a few minutes to let us in. The apartment was adequate and the garden space lovely. The host's home is in the same building and she locked the entry gate and lowered her shutters later in the evening without telling us, so we were unable to retrieve anything from our car parked outside. Apart from these difficulties which were sorted quickly and pleasantly, the stay was good.
