“This is a wonderful place to stay if you are thinking about visiting the Dordogne area.”

Le Clos de la Tour is a wonderful away from it all holiday accommodation, the room was beautifully decorated and set out, the bathroom & shower were very nice, although fluffy towels would have made it even better. When sitting outside the views over the coutryside were spectacular especially in the evening when the owls and cuckoos chattered away in the distance. Listen out for the "Petit-duc scops" which sounds like a dieing smoke detector battery, something you'll never hear in the UK !! The Charcuterie slates are wonderful and a must as there are no local restaurants. Fred and Laurence have made a wonderful place for themselves and it was a pleasure spending time with them as they will make sure every aspect of your stay is perfect.

Very friendly and helpful hosts who also speak English. Beautiful rural location with lovely views. Very good breakfast with fresh ingredients e.g. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Very comfortable spacious seperate chalet style accommodation.

Great place, great environment... very quiet neighbourhood and a great view from the terrace. The owners have put their heart into this place and it shows. If you're looking for a central place in the Dordogne, this is the place to be.

The rooms and buildings are beautifully decorated and very stylish. The breakfast was delicious and a huge bonus that you are able to have a massage onsite too - it was very relaxing!

We only stayed one night in Le Close de la Tour and wished we were there longer! It was a very comfortable stay with extremely friendly hosts! Hopefully we will be back.

Almost everything. The location, view from the property, condition of the estate and the perfectly maintained and appointed rooms, the cheerful, helpful owners and especially their attention to detail and very good taste in how they designed the roommate.

Everything. The location is ideal in a peaceful, quiet and charming environment. The estate is beautifully renovated and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and ultra clean. To top it all, the hosts are extremely lovely. Oh... and I almost forgot: the breakfast is fantastic!!!!

Frederic and Laurence, were lovely, super helpful and their property is wonderful, the view from their garden is stunning and they laid on a great breakfast, we would thoroughly recommend staying there.

Beautiful property, well looked after with lovely grounds. The room was clean and a really good size. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly and spoke good English. It’s a very quiet setting and peaceful. Good location too with it only being a short drive into Sarlat. Would definitely come back and recommend.

Our room was in a beautiful, newly converted building next to the hosts’ stunning house, high on a hill in the rolling countryside. The garden was lovely and had great views. It is a very tranquil place to stay and the breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed chatting to other guests and the host gave us helpful suggestions for places to visit.
