“Perfect overnight stop, and dog friendly”
The location is excellent, there is a restaurant not far away. Very quiet and peaceful. Our favourite stop when driving to the south west.

“Seven days among friends”
Breakfast was STUNNING, very generous portions, lots of variety, wonderful service. Patrice and his mother were the most hospitable hosts and we all became friends. The room was large and comfortable and it really was an exceptional stay. The house is isolated but that is one of the great charms providing you have a car.

“Peaceful and enjoyable stop off on our way back to UK.”
Lovely old farm house perfect for us and Harry (our dog) loved it. Patrice was very good and served us drinks with snacks in the garden. Amazing breakfast!

“A lovely room in a quiet countryside setting with friendly host.”
Our host was very welcoming and had lit a cosy a fire in the room as the weather was cold and wet. The bed was very comfortable, a lovely bathroom all well equipped. Fantastic breakfast.

“Absolutely brilliant overnight stay”
Absolutely fabulous find . Beautiful room. Decor and furnishings so traditional and in keeping with the house. Lovely surroundings- great for dog walk. Lovely greeting from Patrice and a platter of food and a glass of wine each was a lovely gesture. Absolutely wonderfully comfy bed and breakfast was way beyond expectations - topped off with a small picnic for our journey onwards.

“Lovely Authentic French Farmhouse Stay”
A beautiful french farmhouse in the middle of the countryside. We were made to feel so welcome. Perfect spot for an overnight stay - wish we could have stayed longer We were welcomed with aperitifs and snacks and had a delicious home made breakfast in the morning. A delightful experience

Peaceful setting in the French countryside. Spacious and comfortable accommodation. The host Patrice was exceptional, providing delicious snacks and drinks in the garden. Breakfast was served by trolley, with a range of continental dishes. Our dog loved it too!

“Wonderful - will return for longer next time!”
We loved our stay at La Metairie du Pont, it had everything we needed, a great location and a wonderful host, who made us very welcome. The decor was beautiful and the breakfast provided was excellent! The location is rural but only a short drive to town if needed. We would highly recommend it as a fabulous place to stay and hope to visit again when we return to France
