Donna and John were lovely. The yurt was clean and cozy. The hottub was warm and the garden was beautifull! We loved staying here.

We stayed at Donna and John’s Yurt for a week in early August and absolutely loved it. They were friendly and welcoming, and their recommendations really made a difference to our stay as they were perfectly suited to the interests we had asked about in advance. Communication was brilliant from start to finish, which made everything really easy and stress free. The Yurt itself had everything we needed as well as things we hadn't thought we might need and was a great base for the week. The location is peaceful and relaxing, just what we were looking for to properly unwind. The garden was a really big space, beautifully maintained and very attractive in the evenings with lots of lights. The pool was very welcome in the heat and came with everything we needed to enjoy days relaxing at the poolside. We left feeling refreshed and are already planning to come back next year. Friendly owners, very warm welcome, made us feel immediately at home. Beautiful grounds with lovely view and fruit trees, lovely hot tub and swimming pool. It’s amazing how much of the area beside the owners property is exclusively for your own private use. There is nothing you will be short of inside the yurt, every detail has been thought of and catered for. Cannot recommend this highly enough, we can’t wait to go back.

“Thoroughly Enjoyable”

We hag a lovely three night stay, Donna and John were very welcoming especially as we booked at short notice. The address was easy to find using our satnav and the directions available from Booking.com, literally took us to the front door. The yurt is lovely, and has everything you need for a glamping experience. The bathroom is great, and far superior to any glamping yurts I’ve stayed in previously. There is a good sized parking space, and you have privacy from the owners who live in the main house, but who are available if you need anything. Breakfast was provided by way of juice, jams, croissants, bread etc. which was in the fridge for the duration of our stay, and a really lovely touch. It was lovely, to wake and see the cows in the neighbouring field every morning, and watch them with their calves.

It was very pet friendly and the dogs and us were made to feel very welcome.
