“A wonderful gem in the Luberon countryside.”

I absolutely loved my stay as Mas Silvestre. The apartment I stayed in - Gite Laura - was perfect. The bed was super comfortable! I loved the pool area and enjoyed cooling swims and doing yoga by the pool early morning looking at the stunning views. Saint-Saturnin les Apt is a lovely little small town/village and the Tuesday market was excellent - a lot of different vendors to other markets I visited in the area. I will definitely go back to stay at Mas Silvestre again to explore more of the surrounding area, walks, and villages.

It was a lovely apartment with a very comfortable bed and full kitchen - perfect for our needs. It had a gorgeous garden and pool with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. It was perfectly located to visit the towns of the Luberon. Our host Leonard was very helpful.

Nicely renovated studio flat with a private sitting area outside. Lovely shared pool which is heated which was important in October. Short walk into town where there are several restaurants and bars, a good butcher, two bakers and a good little spa shop. Also a good organic shop.

It’s a wonderful place, very calm, but within walking reach of the beautiful village and driving range of beautiful places as l’Isle-sur-la-Sorgues, Gordes, le Colorado Provençal, Roussillon. The studio was very beautiful with everything you need and a lovely terrace with view on Olive trees and vinyards. The pool is absolutely stunning with beautiful views

Very relaxing stay at Mas Silvestre with a wonderful location surrounded by the luberon but within walking distance to the village to eat and drink in the restaurants there. Leonard and his wife welcomed us warmly and were always happy to chat and advise if we had any questions. Breakfasts were sublime with so much choice of savoury, sweet and fresh fruit.

Super sympathetic with the Provençal flavour without it being “too Luberon”. Very clean and super quiet. Loved the pool and the pool house.

Beautiful quiet location close to a lovely village and accessible to so many wonderful areas. Amazing pool area and garden and outstanding views. Very clean, stylish and comfortable accomodation - it was very convenient having both a dishwasher and washing machine. Very private seating area outside of the Gite with a lovely view. Owners are friendly and polite.

Very beautiful, charming and quite location surrounded by lavender fields. Spacious room with small.veranda or balcony. Very tasty breakfast and very kind hosts helping with local restaurants. Great pool area to relax and safe parking.

We were very impressed by the accommodation and pool. Very friendly and helpful owners and the continental breakfast was great. Even their little pet cat was very cute! A great place to stay and travel to other villages around the area, including Saint-Saturnin village which is only a couple of minutes away, plus there was lots of lavender everywhere!

A beautiful setting, lovely landscape and pool, breakfast under the tree in the courtyard, guest tea/ coffee and refrigerator, fabulous views from the window and balcony.

There were several unpleasant issues with this property: (1) While the property is advertised as air-conditioned, 2 of the 4 rooms (one of which was ours) do not have AC, but instead allegedly some cooling system in the floor. You are not able to operate it (such as set the temperature) on your own in the room, only the administrator of the property, Leonard, is able to do it, while he is not at the property most of the days. When we complained about the temperature after 2 nights, he said he would only come next night (i.e. our last night at the property) to set the temperature to a lower one. I do not know if he did it or not, but we did not see any difference. Also, the air in the room was rather humid and smelly during our stay. (2) Ants appeared in our room after 2 days and so we asked the breakfast/cleaning lady if she could sweep the floor (as she was just cleaning the room next door). We were met with a strong "NO" explaining that rooms are only cleaned after the end of the stay. I know this was not a hotel with a daily cleaning service, but I would expect a more client-friendly approach, especially since we were not expecting a full cleaning of the room, just a short sweeping of the floor. (3) The most unpleasant surprise happened after we left the property, 4 days later we realized that my husband had left a rather expensive shirt in the room. While the breakfast/cleaning lady or Leonard to whom we have returned the room key must have found the shirt hanging in the room, they did not bother to send us a message, so that we could easily return for the shirt. When we later realized that we forgot the shirt in the room, I contacted Leonard on his mobile phone number that we regularly used during our stay asking about the shirt and how we could get it back. He completely ignored my messages (despite several chasers), which leads me to believe that he kept the shirt for himself.
