Lovely friendly hosts, who went out of their way to make sure I had a tasty vegan breakfast and who welcomed my dog. They also recommended walks and made it comfortable to sit in the garden too. Absolutely stunning views across the lake, especially at sunrise.

The view was stunning, absolutely and amazingly gorgeous views. It was totally quiet and peaceful, the host was marvellously helpful and very good company. Parking on site. Shops a 10 minute drive away.

“Stunning setting”

What a beautiful setting. Lake, garden, singing birds.... My room was large and on two level, it was bright and functional. Showers and toilets are shared, but there are multiple units and I never even ran into anyone. Basic breakfast, but the lively chat with the owners at the table made the breakfast delightful.

Beautifully peaceful and stunning location, surrounded by nothing but nature. Well equipped house, nothing missing, the most welcoming, interesting and generous hosts ever.

Incredible location. Great value for money. The place was beautiful - we had the whole place to ourselves. Peaceful, unspoiled and clean. Swimming in the lake was a real highlight for us.

Lovely relaxing location by the lakeside full of nature, spoilt a little by other lake users, out of view, but with music and lots of whooping and shouting, thankfully finished early and certainly not any fault of the hosts

Stunning location, incredibly tranquil and peaceful and the proprieters were charming and very friendly and helpful. I loved the simplicity and pared back approach, and personally was totally happy with the 'collectif' approach to facilities, but possible others might not be so keen so important to be aware - it's shared showers, dining table etc... Simple but generous breakfast - bread and condiments and as much coffee as I asked for!

The location is stunning. I got to swim in the lake which was wonderful. The accommodation is quite unusual as was a school at one point but full of character. Hosts Sylvie and Gilles were fabulous. I spent a lovely evening with them. Sylvie made me courgette soup farmed from her own garden. I was travelling by bike and it was a Monday and all the shops were fermé so she really helped me out!
