Spacious, clean, beautiful grounds, swimming pool and amazing location! Small town of Aubeterre 10mins away and was perfect for a delicious dinner, ice cream and a drink. A few of river beaches within 15 mins drive, parks, food markets, everything you could need.

the pool and surrounds were perfect. the accommodation was comfortable, well appointed and clean. the hosts were friendly and helpful. we loved our stay at Le Shedeaux!

What a lovely comfortable house with three comfortable air conditioned bedrooms and three good shower rooms all with own WC. The house is in a loveley garden with wonderful pool (with natural tree shade and umbrellas fir those of is who prefer shade) and all set in the beautiful countryside. We also liked the BBQ and outside table and chairs where we ate all of our meals. Convenient and friendly village shop in local village at about 1.3 km for croissants, pain aux raisins, baguettes, wine, beer, eggs etc..etc. very handy indeed. Canoe/Kayak rentals at about 6 kms on the beautiful river Dronne and very nice market town with nice restaurants at about 5 kms too. Last, but not least, we appreciated the friendly and helpful proprietors (Rachel & Paul) not forgetting the handsome Cockerel and his brood of hens who all made us feel very welcome. Thank you.
