“A wonderful rural break”
We had a wonderful stay and we’re made to feel very welcome by Mariene and Jesse. Breakfast was fresh, local and they more than accommodated to my food intolerances. Which was unexpected but much appreciated! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit.

“Quaint French Countryside B&B”
We loved Rose Du Vent and had amazing sunny few days in the area for our friends wedding. Big thank you to Jessie for saving the day with transport to the wedding venue! The breakfast was delicious and even made us a special chocolate mouse with almond milk for our dairy intolerant friend! All the breakfast items were made locally from the bread, to the goat's cheese to the jam and honey and juice! Lovely to have fresh produce like this not from a english supermarket! We will dearly miss the 3 cats, especially Tomat.... and mini tortoises.

We've just finished our 3 week road trip, and without question, this was the standout stay! Helene is a magnificent host; nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were full of local produce; all delicious. The ensuite bedroom was very comfortable and styled, reflecting the owner's travels to India & Pakistan. Helene arranged dinner reservations for us, which was most welcome.

“Wonderful hospitality”
We had a wonderful overnight stay in this beautiful, comfortable house in the heart of the ancient village. Mariane is a very warm and generous host, and made sure we had everything we needed to feel at home. We loved the pool with it's breathtaking views. Breakfast is a real treat with many local products on offer. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

“Absolutely amazing !”
We loved everything about this property! it was a wonderful authentic French experience ! There is a lovely pool, beautiful scenery & it is clean and very comfortable . The host is an amazing person! She is very attentive , friendly and made us a beautiful breakfast every morning using fresh local Produce . We felt very spoilt ! we couldn’t believe the value for money ! We especially enjoyed our French lessons! We would return in a heartbeat !

“Warm, welcoming and beautiful!!”
What can we say, from the moment we arrived we felt cared for & at home in Mariane and Jesse's Chatau. The location was secluded, tranquil and breathtakingly beautiful. Mariane went out of her way to make our stay special, our only regret was that we didn't stay long enough, we didn't want to leave. The breakfast spread was delicious and came from the local village. We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Jesse who so kindly gave us a lift to and from a wedding we were attending not far from La Rise Du Vent. This was a life saver as we hadn't hired a car. Their 3 cats were absolutely gorgeous, and my husband and I loved having them wander around during our stay for strokes and cuddles. Thank you, and we plan on returning to stay again. “Simply amazing!”
Wow, wow, wow. What a warm welcome. Mariane is a very warm and generous person. Breakfast was amazing. The room was lovely, and we were immediately given beautiful cups and kettle for our tea habit! Bed was super comfy as were the pillows. Scrupulously clean! Mariane also came up with the most perfect suggestions for outings. She's like a new friend. We will go back! Thank you for all your generosity and beautiful stay.

“Wonderful experience”
The property is near the top of a small, cute village offering beautiful views from the pool area. Breakfast was wonderful and Mariene is a great host. She has recommended couple of very nice places to visit nearby. We would love to go back and highly recommend this place.
