Overview
Hotel de France is situated in the heart of Saint Pol de Léon in Northern Finistere, 200 metres from the Cathedral Saint Paul Aurélien and 5 km from Roscoff. The hotel has a garden and a sun terrace and free WiFi is available. Accessible by a staircase, all rooms at the Hotel de France have a flat-screen TV with cable channels, an electric kettle and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. A buffet breakfast is served daily at the hotel. Other facilities at the hotel include a bar, room service. Our parking is not free. It is paying from January 2023, 12.00€ / vehicle / night. Our establishment does not have an elevator, our rooms are accessible by a staircase. Only the PMR room is on the ground floor.

“Top quality everything!!”
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and could be taken indoors or in the lovely garden. The staff are sooooo welcoming and helpful. We will certainly go again.

Second stay and very positive. Quiet. Easy to find. Near centre - cathedral, shops etc. A mile walk to sea - or drive it. Very convenient for ferry . St Pol is a very nice little town and worth pottering around for a half day.

This place is great. The staff are amazing...I don't think I have ever experienced such great, friendly, and helpful service. The owners take great care of the hotel, including the immaculate garden, which is lovely to relax in and to breakfast on the terrace.

“A little gem in a lovely little town”
Overall very good, we wanted an overnight stay before catching the early morning ferry to Plymouth. Several others staying were also catching the ferry so I assume this is the mainstay of the hotels trade. The hotel is rated 3 star on Booking.com it is far better than that 4 star for quality at least. Good safe parking. Nice garden, bar, immaculate and modern. This will be our automatic choice when we need similar again.

Great location, with a warm welcome on arrival. We liked the decor and everything was spotless clean. The breakfast was a real treat in the sunny room overlooking the garden. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel de France in Saint-Pol-de-Léon. The owners were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious, spotless, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. We also appreciated the high-quality toiletries and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, with very good quality products and served by a very kind and professional team. A place we would happily return to and highly recommend.

The key requirements for us were a quiet location and private secure parking close to the ferry port in Roscoff. Hotel de France delivered exceptionally well.

Lovely welcome on arrival and assistance with parking which was very welcome after a very long journey. Super room and extremely comfortable bed. I had never been to Saint Pol de Leon before and discovered a very pretty town. I hope to return one day!
