“Will not be going there again”

There wasn't a private toilet area - it was open to the bedroom with no door, no tea or coffee in room, no fire alarm in bedroom, was not allowed in room until 6pm at night, no tele in room, front door difficult to open in, lets say a fire emergency and I have never been in a hotel in France ie we have travelled all over France where there wasn't a croissant for breakfast how mean is that !!!

Clean, comfortable and peaceful. Intriguing ex-convent - eg. (Excellent)breakfast served in ex-chapel with stained-glass windows. Charming, unobtrusive, but available, hosts. No in-room TV! Delightful small town.

An amazing experience in a surprisingly affordable guesthouse near the historical center of the beautiful town of Saint-Pierre sur Dives in the Normandie countryside. Our welcoming hosts have converted this old hospice into a charming bed and breakfast, featuring the breakfast room into a former chapel and displaying very comfortable and modern bedrooms witn all facilities. Highly recommended!

Excellent property. The host was very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot and powerful. The location was ideal being in the town close to shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking on the road outside. The breakfast was of good quality with lots of choices. Very good value for money.

lovely old building with nicely styled room

I had the pleasure of staying in this truly atypical house. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was particularly delightful. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic games rooms available at the hotel. The attention to detail was evident from the emphasis on local products.

Top class breakfast. A friendly caring welcome to a traditional house with a good ambience. Very clean and comfortable. Able to park conveniently outside. Wi-Fi and other facilities all worked well. Location in the main street but quiet at night. A lovely little unspoilt town located in the centre of Pays d'Auge.

“Lovely stop off on the way back to England”

We used this as a stop off before getting an early ferry the next day. It was a lovely little town. The accomodation is close to everything. The host met us and recommended a really good place to eat (opposite the accomodation). She made us breakfast early so we could get to the ferry inplenty of time and put up with our attempted French. Would use again as astop over or base for exploring Normandy.

I particularly liked relaxing in the garden, and meeting the rabbit. The hosts were very welcoming. I would be happy to return.

“Comfortable stay in par-la-dives”

Par-la-dives is a great place to stay. We stayed for one night but it is definitely a place to stay longer. The rooms are large and comfortable and well equipped. The owners are very kind and the breakfast they serve is great with a variety of fine products.
