Ellen Bay Inn is set 100 metres from Mercers Creek Bay and 15 minutes’ drive from VC Bird International Airport. It features an extensive garden, free Wi-Fi throughout and free parking. The colonial-décor rooms offer cable TV, iPod docking station and a balcony. The bathrooms are private and come with shower. The on-site, fully-equipped restaurant serves a variety of food from omelettes for breakfast and sandwiches for lunch, to lobster for dinner. Guests can arrange excursions to The Great Bird Island and activities as snorkelling, hiking and sun baths. Ellen Bay Inn is 10 minutes’ drive from Long Bay Beach and 15 minutes’ drive from Saint John’s Capital City. The Antigua and Barbuda Museum is a 20-minute drive away.

“Daytime adventures and relaxed evenings.”
The location is beautiful, authentic Caribbean vibes. Very peaceful and beautiful. A cooling breeze is most welcome. The hotel is very pretty and the beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. Chef David is available every day for delicious meals. The shower is always the perfect temperature and is very easy to regulate. We love NOT staying in a resort! So peaceful and connected to nature, community and culture. We had a very small rental car and found the roads to be no worse than our home in remote west wales. Other drivers were always considerate. Antigua is amazing AND the highlight of our wonderful trip was stingray city. That’s walking distance from the Ellen Bay Inn. Eco kayaking, again walking distance was great too! We dived and snorkelled every day, zip lining through jungle, beach buggy adventures, horse riding treks…we did it all!

A place with good vibes. A place to remember! Trevor and Sharon really made us feel at home and chef David is such a mesmerizing personality (if he doesn't adopt us, we will adopt him ;)). Thank you for making our stay so lovely and memorable.

Ellen Bay Inn is situated in the quiet village of Seatons. It is an attractive property in a homely way and staying here shows you genuine Antiguan village life.You can see the sea from the terrace. As there are no restaurants nearby, it is good that you can preorder breakfast lunch and dinner. They serve simple , tasty local food. Lovely beach - Long Bay, within 15 minute drive. ( Apparently Trevor will drive you there and collect you later, if he is available) We like staying in unique places that help support the local economy. Our super double was spacious with good Aircon, shower and fridge.. Comfy mattress.

“Kind owner, but hotel needs to be more cared for”
EDITED (June 2nd, 2025): As soon as I wrote about my experience here, I was contacted by the owner via whatsapp. She refused to admit the room was dusty and dirty, and said "mosquitoes are not my control" and "you should have stayed at a five-star property, of which I'm sure you couldn't afford". I felt very unconfortable and think it's a pity that some hosts seem unable to accept their faults and improve their overall service :( ... The owner was kind and helpful. On our 2nd day, we asked for a kettle since we wanted to drink tea in the room and she brought it immediately. We also enjoyed the views of the surrounding nature.

“Wonderful place to call home for a week”
We had a wonderful time at Ellen Bay Inn. Great value for money. The bed was super comfortable and our hosts were very friendly and made us wonderful home cooked food. You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner there. All at a very reasonable price. Great views. We had a car so it was very easy for us to get to the Inn and also explore the island. I reckon you probably do need a car or taxi to get here. But that wasn’t a problem for us. It’s a family business and we felt right at home! Thank you for having us!

My stay at Ellen Bay Inn in St. Philip's, Antigua, was very short, due to me travelling to a neighbouring island but it was enjoyable. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway, this is the place. Ellen Bay Inn is a family-run business, and the friendly and accommodating nature of the staff truly stood out. The bedrooms are very spacious, with big, comfortable double beds. The inn also has a small, intimate cafe where they serve breakfast. I would definitely recommend Ellen Bay Inn to other travelers seeking a relaxing and personalized experience in Antigua

The welcome when we arrived was lovely. Our room was very nice, with a smart TV and comfy bed. Breakfast was very good, really enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the beautiful view. We were offered a shuttle to the beach or airport, making our stay extra convenient. Antigua is a beautiful friendly place, and the Ellen Bay inn encompasses that fully.
