It was our honeymoon destination The location is excellent, very quiet and a 1 minute walk distance away from Mullin’s beach There are a couple of lovely restaurants around If you rent a small car, there’s a parking spot right in front of the house. I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable parking there in a 4x4 though

Darrel Cot house is absolutely lovely and the location on the little beach is amazing. We went to sleep and woke up every day to the sound of the waves. The balcony is big and you can sit outside even if it is raining and enjoy the beautiful view. The house is very spacious and has everything you need. There is a washing machine and dryer which was very useful. There is a garage over the road for essentials and some great bars and restaurants close by. The main beach is a few minutes away with sunbeds to hire and food and drinks available. Barry is a great host and came to meet us on arrival.

Great location. Right on the beach with your own private entry to it and outdoor shower for rinsing off. All clean and comfortable. Big shower and big washer and dryer. Bath towels and beach towels included. Wonderful deck! Has lots of cable television channels. Would highly recommend!

The location is fantastic with very easy access to both Speightstown & Holetown. The view from the back decking is fabulous. The house has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The kitchen is very well equipped allowing you to prepare meals to enjoy on the wonderfull decking. The ac in both bedrooms worked really well. The use off a washing machine and dryer is great. Being able to walk straight out onto the soft Sand beach was fantastic. The sunsets are spectacular. It was lovely to stay in a typical bajan home. The garage across the rd has a good shop for picking up essential groceries. We had a wonderful time and hope to return.

The location of the property was amazing, access to the beach, opposite a 24 hour shop, the host 'Barry' was brilliant, helpful with everything, useful insights to the area and also had very helpful numbers of taxi and local tourist areas. The cottage was spacious, air conditioning in the rooms was great, access to loads of channels, fully working kitchen, beach towels etc.. Was really great and enjoyed out time there so much. The cottage is basic so if you want full 5-star comfort then may not be for you, but for a holiday where you want to be outside more than in, and have a clean, safe place to stay with convenience, this is brilliant and we will stay again if we go back to Barbados.

Our flight was delayed, we made Barry our host aware, & he was at the property to greet us. Barry showed us all sound the property, it was spotlessly clean with everything we could need. A real home. The highlight being the outside deck,steps to the beach, rocky access so beach shoes advisory. Outside shower was perfect, as were awning, umbrella & various chairs inc sun beds. Mullins bay just to the left of property had easier access in/out of water. Good to have air con in bedrooms. Less than 5 mins walk to some great local restaurants especially Grandenes, where Shane & his family are so helpful, friendly & welcoming - they also do excellent takeaway, live music & good food also at Cici’s. Busses are frequent, stopping a few yards from the door in both directions, nearest supermarket is Speightstown, a 20 min walk to local bakery for lovely fresh bread & rolls made daily.

The location is perfect, close to amenities and transport up and down the west coast. The sun terrace leading onto the beach was great

Balcony was perfect, loved it. The gorgeous restaurant along the beach with the best fish. Note to who ever goes to Barbados take beach shoes /swimming shoes a bit rocky.

Our host, Barry, was excellent. He gave us a great welcome and showed us round the property when we arrived. The location was amazing - right on the beach. Aircon in bedrooms was great. Kitchen and laundry facilities we all super useful (kettle, toaster, microwave, cooker etc). Beach towels provided were a bonus, as was the safe in the property We were able to sit on the decking in the day and evening and watch the sail boats and local fisherman going past us. It was useful to have a petrol station nearby with a well stocked shop for groceries. The local buses (yellow) pass right by the front door and they stop on request - you can travel up to Speightstown and down to Bridgetown very easily. All the locals were super friendly. Restaurants nearby were great. Grandene's (good value, tasty, Bajan food) was a great experience. Sea Shed (more up market and more expensive) great choice, and lovely location on the beach. Fish Pot in Moon Town was lovely for breakfast (short taxi ride away from Darrel Cot). All in all we loved our stay at Darrel Cot and would stay there again. We have already recommended to our friends.
