Overview
Set in the village of Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, this hotel offers a restaurant and an outdoor swimming pool during the summer months. Additional facilities include free private parking. The guest rooms are simply decorated and equipped with a flat-screen TV. Some rooms have a balcony offering views of the surrounding countryside and all have an en suite bathroom with free toiletries. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast each morning at the hotel. Traditional regional dishes are offered in the restaurant and in the evening guests are invited to relax with a drink at the bar. The hotel is located a 10-minute drive from Saint-Jean-de-Luz and 18 km from Biarritz. The Spanish border is a 20-minute drive away.

“Great place to stay for accessing the northern basque region”
All the staff were more than helpful. On an extremely hot day the fan in our friends room wouldn't work and the hotel immediately repaired it while we were at dinner. At 34c the fan did a good job, despite no Aircon. In the restaurant the staff gave advice on wine, food options and even informed us of the new system to access the center of San Sebastian in Spain. This required online registration for foreign vehicles, something we were not aware of. The whole atmosphere was relaxed and happy. The Tapas was superb and the prices for food and wine were very acceptable. We will definitely stay here again.

“Bonnet Hotel”
Beautifull surrounding area. Food was fantastic in the restaurant. Dog friendly.. did not charge extra. Unlike Mercure that charge €30 extra for my wee dog to sleep on the floor.

“A great find”
A big shout out to Jean-Michel who worked in the outside bar/restaurant. He was very helpful, great fun and an excellent ambassador for the hotel. The hotel is in a great location and with easy access to other lovely areas. We would definitely stay here again.

We were accommodated in another building nearby where the conditions were below average. I don't know why this is so. If you stay there, ask for a room in the main building.

The overall experience wasn't good. The hotel is in the middle of no where. If you are travelling with your family and wanting somewhere conformable to crash for the night then this not the place for it it's too far and the breakfast was awful no choice whatsoever for the price they charge.
