We chose this accommodation based on the photos and reviews on Booking, but unfortunately our experience did not match the expectations created by the listing. The main reason we booked was the pool; however, it was not cleaned and clearly unusable. Even if it was the beginning of the season, this should have been clearly communicated on Booking, as we would not have chosen this place otherwise. The furniture is very worn and outdated. We did not expect luxury, but the condition was below a basic standard for example, the bed headboard was scratched and damaged. We had requested a double bed, but instead received two separate, uncomfortable mattresses that kept sliding apart. Upon entering the room (located one level below ground, similar to a basement), there was an immediate strong musty smell and stale air. Overall, the property felt poorly maintained and unclean, as if it had not been properly cleaned for a long time. The terrace was also dirty and not taken care of. In conclusion, the stay did not reflect the information and images presented online, which was disappointing.

The owner is a real gentleman. Focused on the guests needs and able to solve any problem.

staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent, with a great variety of organic produce including home made jams that were delicious. The whole hotel was quiet and very clean. Our room was very spacious and we had a wonderful balcony. The amenities were also very good. we would certainly recommend the hotel to friends visiting the area.

“Lovely hotel, great service in a great location”

Unexpected gem of a hotel off a busy road and a short distance to/from St Paul de Vence. Great communication and they were able to accommodate our late arrival despite no staffing at that time. The hotel and its car park was inside a gate, so felt secure. The room was large and comfortable, also very quiet and relaxing. Beautiful pool area and very clean. Breakfast was plentiful on a nice terrace overlooking the pool and surrounding nature.

Everything! Beautiful gem with a wonderful garden and pool area. Breakfast area is beautiful with nice view. The host were very nice and helpful. 5 mins with Uber/car from beautiful St.Paul de Vence.
