Gorgeous little home from home for a night on way to the Alps, as other reviews say, comfortable, clean and a truly beautiful garden, families with children I suspect would love the space and variety of garden entertainment, I would recommend 100 percent

Perfect stop over on the way to Chamonix from the UK. Just off the main road but very peaceful in a beautiful garden with petanque, goats and chickens. The little house has two bedrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, a little lounge kitchen area and there is a glass covered well in the front room! There is also air conditioning, which we weren't expecting but truly appreciated in the heatwave that was starting as we arrived. There are a few sets of tables and chairs and we sat outside playing cards all evening. There is a bakery and a lovely chemist a few moments walk away and a superu a few moments drive away. There are some takeaway places within walking distance, but we didn't try them. Parking on the drive is very secure, locked by a gate with a key fob, which you can use to come and go as you please. The owners are really nice, so if you want a very reasonably priced, peaceful, relaxed overnight, stay on the way south, look no further!

Very comfortable, spacious, good facilities. Great to be able to stay in and relax for the evening in the middle of a long drive. Ideal for a winter stopover (on our way back from a ski holiday), especially on a Sunday or Monday, when many restaurants are closed. We were able to bring a tasty but simple dinner with us from a supermarket and eat "at home".

Very good value. Nice accommodation and quiet, secure parking and good location. Stopped on our way to and from the Alps from Nottingham. Perfect time wise, set off on a Friday 7am got there 6.30pm French time, and made the 1.22pm tunnel going home setting off 9am on a Sunday.

Great accomodation in every way. Excellent value.

“Perfect for our needs”

We were staying for one night on way to Alps. It was easy to find, had off road parking, quiet, clean and comfortable. We did not make use of except to have breakfast in, but the garden was lovely

The garden is a real gem! full of fun play equipment. Kids were entertained for hours. Location is fantastic, 20 min drive from the Lac d'Orient (beach/swim ). Host was genuinely friendly. We will return!
