“Very comfortable stya”

Our host was lovely and very helpful, speaks excellent English. We had a very comfortable overnight stay and an excellent breakfast. Our room was spacious and well equipped. It is a beautiful old house tastefully decorated and furnished. As we were travelling out of season and on a Monday the local restaurant was closed so we had to travel to the next village for our evening meal. It wasn't a problem but you may be advised to book a restaurant in advance.

“Really nice traditional family run hotel”

This is a small hotel that has been in the same family for 170 years. Audrey is the 6th generation to run it. She learnt hoteliery in London and Paris working in both small and large establishments and she has an eye for detail. The dining room is lovely with photos and paintings of the hotel over the years. a long table where guests can eat breakfast together. They also serve a "table d'hote" evening meal which we were unable to try as we spent our days with our family who were camping nearby. In the evenings some locals used the hotel as a bar and sat in a group outside. All adds to the feeling that you are in a "local" establishment.

“A place for a full relax”

We were traveling with a baby, and Audrey was always on the lookout something for our son. That has been phenomenal. The place, the environment and the reception are fantastic. The dinner was very fine. Highly recommended.
