“Charming self contained accommodation”

It was in the centre of town, very quiet and because it was seperate to the main house it was very private. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and charming people. I enjoyed staying with them and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again.

A wonderful, self-contained apartment in a quiet town. Accessed by a flight of stairs, no problem for us, but may pose a challenge for those of restricted mobility. Well-designed, newly renovated and spotlessly clean. A simple but delicious breakfast served in the main house: fresh strawberries, freshly-squeezed orange juice, croissants and fresh bread with honey and jam, selection of teas or coffee - first class! Super-friendly host, thank you.

We had a traditional french breakfast and a surprise in that our hostess played the harp whilst we were eating. We have not been serenaded like this before and it was very relaxing. Room was fitted with mod cons and nothing was in short supply.

The apartment was absolutely delightful. Isabelle was very welcoming. The area is beautiful. It is self-contained apartment with everything you could expect. The cleanliness was TOP! The breakfast was amazing as was the harp playing by Isabelle. ( thank you ) We had a lovely walk by the lake in the evening which was only three minutes from the apartment , And there is a delightful Pizza restaurant at the end of the road. We would definitely return. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. X

The room is spacious and comfortable with a kitchen space and a fridge which was very useful. Isabelle treated me to a harp performance over breakfast which beats the radio any time!

The hosts were very welcoming. The apartment was beautifully decorated and designed, with everything you would need. Breakfast was included in the price and was freshly prepared for us. The added extra - harp music whilst eating breakfast, played by the hostess. I would highly recommend a stay here and will return in the future.

“Delightful property with delightful Owners”

The accommodation exceeded our expectations in that the room was well proportioned, and very comfortable. In addition there was a lovely little annex kitchen, with refridgerator, sink, plates, knives and forks, a kettle and a little bar table to sit at for self-catering, at its simplest. The room was well heated, for the time of year. The breakfast in the main house the next morning was of a good French standard. (Freshly squeezed orange juice, home made jams) With the romantic addition of the proprietor playing a piece on each of her different harps - a different harp each morning. It was delightful and a privilege to listen to it. She is a very accomplished harpist and public performer.

The room was delightfully decorated and we had everything we needed. The shower and kitchenette were spotless. Isabel and her husband were lovely and welcoming and the breakfast was tasty and fresh. It was an absolute delight to eat it whilst listening to Isabel playing the harp. They could not have been more helpful.

We had breakfast 2x and both were excellent, 1st morning in the house, with amazing harp accompaniment and help with our itinerary. 2nd morning delivered to our kitchenette, different, but equally as good! The room is small but designed to skillfully maximise it and decorated with impeccable taste. The walk in shower is fabulous and the host goes the extra mile to make the stay as good as possible, in all aspects, not just harp playing! It's small but almost perfectly formed and we absolutely loved it, clear winner as best accom on our driving holiday! Although not on the property, the parking is excellent.
