“An excellent get-away spot and I really enjoyed my visit”

A remote property (extremely quiet and peaceful) but not too far from a delight village with good restaurants. The view across a field from the veranda outside my room was delightful. The bathroom was particularly well appointed with a large wet room style shower plus a large jacuzzi style bath.

all was perfect!!

I had a 2-night stay at Les Bruyeres a d had a exceptional experience. The location is really nice, in a calm setting close to the forest. The hosts were very kind and the bedroom was superb.

The hosts are pleasant couple. They have two horses, a lovely dog and a cat. When you go to near forest in the morning, birds are singing nicely.

A great nature getaway. Located perfectly in a little village, with a beautiful scenery and plenty of walking paths to go on. Breakfast was very good with fresh bread and pastries, homemade cake, handmade yoghurt and freshly squeezed orange juice and a hot drink of your choice. The room was very spacious, a comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. The Merlin Room came with both a standing shower and a good sized bathtub/hot tub. Also a private patio all to yourself! Valerie and her husband were also extremely kind and helpful, happy to answer any queries about the surrounding area.

“When you want to feel at home not at a hotel”

The owners of the place greeted us as friends, not guests. We chatted nicely, learned about places to see in the area and even met their grandson, and when we left we were given a bottle of local cider. - Incredible place near iconic places in the woods - Lovely French breakfast with homemade yoghurt and croissants in the company of other guests - Charming patio with a panoramic view - Clean and bright comfortable room with everything you need for a comfortable stay

“We loved the area and would happily return to Les Bouyeres”

A spacious and cosy house beautifully decorated with spaces to sit, including a fabulous shared balcony for guests. We loved the room, it felt quirky but comfortable and there was a lot of attention to detail. Low ceilings on the window side which didn't bother us. Lovely hosts (with two young children and a dog) and good breakfast. In the morning we walked ten minutes to 'Merlin's tomb' which is just inside the beautiful forest. Gorgeous views, and absolute peace.

“Fabulous”

One of the best gites we had in this trip - the bed was comfortable, the bathroom a good size and good shower. Very, very clean. The breakfast was included in the price and it was delicious and fresh. It is closed to the forest of Broceliande and good for walking. The host were very nice.

The owners were super friendly and helpful, the house was really cosy, made with an eye for detail. It was a beautiful place to stay for a few days!
