“Peaceful. Great for a first family holiday”
Lovely, spacious villa in a peaceful setting. Very convenient for local vineyards although you do need a car to make the most of the countryside. Lovely walk along the river to the local town. Our hosts were very kind and made us feel at home.

“Superb hosts, beautiful villa, wonderful location.”
Mark and Kay were exceptional hosts who we found very welcoming and accommodating. They were quick to respond to texts whenever we had questions. The villa was surprisingly spacious, tastefully furnished with all amenities one could need all set in beautiful grounds with views of the chateau. The villa is situated with easy access to the Dordogne River and in close proximity to St Emilion. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this villa.

“Beautiful property”
Everything was perfect. Mark and Kay are so lovely, the property is beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. It’s a lovely walk along the river into the town. We didn’t want to go home! Highly recommend.

La Villa a Chateau Franc - beautifully decorated and furnished, a home from home. Mark and Kay the owners have paid great attention to detail in this property. It's situation, in the grounds of their home, is quiet and peaceful with a nice pool to cool off in. Located a short walk (about 1 mile) to town it is possible to visit a couple of places to eat and find shops for all the essentials. There is an excellent bakers and delicatessen and of course good wine available from a local wine cellar.

“Beautiful home, picture perfect with everything you need for a group/family!”
It was lovely to meet the owners of the property on arrival/check out, it showed that they really care that their guests have a good stay and also ensured the property was immaculate for our stay. The house was beautiful, it was picture perfect in every way- the house is actually very large, it easily fits a family/group of 6 and all 3 bedrooms are very good sizes. The pool area is beautiful and the view of the grounds/gardens is very pretty. We really loved that we gained a key to the gate at the bottom of the owners property so that we could easily walk along the river in to town, a nicer walk than the town route! The kitchen was extremely well stocked, not an appliance/item missing- very handy when travelling with a baby. All in all we loved our stay in this beautiful yet comfortable home and we would highly recommend a visit!

“Excellent stay in wine country villa”
Great villa with a small pool. Exceptionally well equipped and clean, with everything you could need for a week's stay. Kay and Mark were friendly but not intrusive (the villa is in their extensive gardens) and, when we had a minor medical problem and needed to stay on, were very flexible. It's well located on a reasonably quiet road in the middle of wine country. There is a riverside pathway to the local town. Warmly recommended.
