“Overcharge, no communication”

I had to start a dispute with my bank because this hotel doesn't answer my email. I have a receipt from booking.com which says breakfast is included, and I talked to two people at the hotel and they said breakfast was included, then I got charged $110 extra for breakfast on top of the breakfast package. I will update my review after the hotel returns the overcharge.

They tried to charge me more than what I paid on Booking. I ended up paying the right amount only after insisting for a while. First hotel in years of traveling that tried to do this to me...

“Perfect!”

Everything was great. My room was spotless every day, staff were very attentive and helped with anything necessary. The lobby is beautiful, a pleasure to walk in to. Iron available in the room, coffee, fridge, big bathroom. Super easy talk to the convention center.

Good locations and room with a good space and new bathroom. Quite comfortable as stay for work trip.

The excellent personel attention. Super nice, everybody, specially people serving breakfast.

“Amazing property but poor customer service”

Good location for the arch. Great room and well maintained building.

Great location, everthing was very close. Perfect to explore St. Louis. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast selection and sizes are also great. Parking is a bir expensive but close to the city 38$/night or 45$/night if you chose valet service. Staff were really friendly.

“Historic hotel with welcoming staff”

The hotel had historic charm and was clean and tastefully decorated. It has much more character than surrounding hotels as at comparable price. Also very close to the Arch National Park, which was great for morning walks. Staff was always very friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again.

I like that you had to use a key to get onto the floors. And it was walking distance to the ball park.

Staff was professional and catered to our needs. The rooms were large, clean and provided the comforts of home. Overall, an outstanding experience and, not only stay there again but would highly recommend staying there to others.

Everything was very nice, clean and quiet and the staff were great. The buffet breakfast was good also.

This is an old bank that has been repurposed. Lots of marble, columns etc. The property itself is looking rather upscale if that appeals to you. The room was quite adequate, comfortable, and the recent renovations completed for the most part. And what work was left was not an issue. The free wifi took help from the staff to get connected. Secret passwords and all that. I thought the staff were very nice and accommodating. There is a breakfast buffet at a reasonable price on some days ($20). Which days is a question as it isn't every day. Surprisingly STL Airport breakfast was 1/2 the price. The location is OK.
