Pool and lovely restaurant 200 yards up the road run by the proprietor. Super spacious room with everything you could need except an iron, but none of the places I stayed had one either so I was looking a bit disheveled by the end of the week. I’m sure if I’d asked he would have happily supplied one. Lovely calm and gentle golden retriever!

What a find. A little gem in St. Junien. Laurent was a fantastic host. This hotel is definitely boutique and fabulous. Everything you could ever want. Lauryvan Restaurant is exceptional. Food was delicious and only 2 mins drive away. You could walk it and have a little tiple. Swimming pool looked so inviting but just didn't get tge chance to use it. We will definitely return. A very comfortable Chambre d'hote with welcoming hosts. The room's facilities were exceptional overlooking a lovely garden. Situated about a 10 minute drive from the centre of Saint-Junien the property is approached up a long hill, which is about a kilometre south of the D675. Breakfast was in the continental style and more than ample.

Exceptionally clean and Laurent was a charming host who spoke perfect English. The pool was very welcome as we had hot days during our stay. The restaurant food was fantastic.

Beautiful property with a very lovely garden and pool. The owner Laurent was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. Although the property is on the road you cannot hear the traffic in the bedroom and it didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the garden. Location wise it was a little far out to walk to St Junien and no pavements. However, the Lauryvan Restaurant & Bistro is just a short walk away and is excellent and in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend it! Would stay again if in the area.

Lovely spacious, clean, bright bedrooms and lovely comfortable beds. All in all beautifully presented accommodation. We loved having a swim in the pool and being able to relax around the pool after our swim. Laurent went out of his way to ensure we had a good welcome even though he was unable to be there. We would happily return. Thank you Laurent for a wonderful stopover.

Great place for a stopover on our way through France, with a restaurant within easy walking distance. A swimming pool and air conditioning were very welcome in the hot weather. The owner was helpful and welcoming.

“Superb place to stay”

The room was so comfortable. with a TV and cosy armchairs. The shower room and separate toilet were very clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable and because of the electric shutters it remained dark until we wanted to wake up. The garden is beautiful with a swimming pool and a great place to relax. The owner, who owns the restaurant Lauryvan, was really helpful. Saint Junien is a lovely little town to wander round. There is also the added bonus of Nolit the resident dog.
