We loved our spacious room with a wonderful view over the countryside. We were the only guests for a few days, so could use the outside and otherwise shared facilities as if they were our own! The breakfast each morning was delicious and more than enough. Particularly nice when served on the terrace when warm enough. The hosts were friendly and helpful whilst respecting our privacy. Very peaceful. Good central location to visit interesting areas. Would have enjoyed swimming in the river if it had been warmer weather. Loved the canoe trip. Sitting on the terrace with a wine and watching spectacular sunsets was very special.

I was so happy with the location central to so many of the pretty villages and sights. Steve and Claire are so informed about the region and shared their knowledge. The property is lovely, cared for and comfortable. Breakfast time was always a joyful start to the day and there was always a welcome when you arrived back at the end of the day.

This property is amazing if your using it as a base. We had a family event close to this property (10mins away) and St Julian de Lampon with bar restaurant, small general store, pharmacy, bread/cake shop and butcher and beach for Dordogne river only a few mins drive, so it was the perfect location. Loved the view over the Dordogne Valley, hosts where fabulous - attentive but also let us get on with our stay and the room was fantastic, decorated to high standard, clean and well put together with beds made and towels changed every day.

The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable, the outside space was very beautiful and had lots of seating areas. Loved the well equipt 'kitchen' outside where you could prepare your own food and drinks. Hosts were wonderful and the weather was lovely!

Lovely hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Great, peaceful setting with all you need from a B and B..plus the joy of a small kitchen in the garden room so you do not have to eat out at restaurants every night.

Clair and Steve we very welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful . They offered to book us a table at a local restaurant as we were arriving late with out us even needing to ask . They offered us a drink on the terrace in our arrival . The rooms were very cosy comfortable and clean with stunning views across The Valley . There williness to share their local knowledge was invaluable to us and greatly enhanced our say in the area. Their eye for detail and understanding of what guest need such as offering us the possibility to self cater and use the alfresco kitchenette and bbq for a evening meal went over and above our expectations . We will back again and recommend to family and friends .

The property is very lovely, well maintained and refurbished. The garden is fantastic, fresh fruit are served in the morning. The room was very clean, spacious and had all you need. The bathroom was super clean and nicely redone. The breakfast was really good. Claire and Stephen are also great hosts, available and genuinely interested in their hosts and to help them.

Amazing place, hosts, athmosphere!! Impressive design, furniture, colors, decorations, details which made you feel like visiting old friends, and not just a booked accommodation.

Location was perfect - beautiful views from the breakfast balcony! Clean room, loved the interior decor. Breakfast was good - fresh croissants, bread and jam, orange juice and coffee, had a boiled egg one day too. All excellent considering the price! Hosts Claire and Steve went above and beyond to help us in any way they could - which was very much appreciated. Note, if you're flying into Brive - book your rental car in advance!

What a great place to stay; we felt more like friends than guests. The facility's and rooms were tastefully decorated and totally spotless. The breakfast was great and we even had access to an excellent outside seating and kitchen area with a fridge to keep your wine and beer. I can't say enough good things about this place and everyone in the party felt the same, I am totally looking forward to taking my wife there so she can experience this amazing place.

Beautiful views await you as does a very warm welcome and stunning gardens. The room was simply stylish and very clean. A beautiful setting from which to enjoy the area. Comfortable, unhurried and no pressure. Claire and Stephen are excellent hosts who can't do enough for you. Five star all round.
