Overview
Lafitenia Resort is located in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, just 300 metres from Lafitenia beach, on the Basque coast. It offers an outdoor pool with furnished terrace and a hammam. Set in a large garden Villa Acotz is one of the four guest houses located within the private domain of Lafitenia Resort. It is composed of 5 spacious and air-conditioned suites, some offering views over the sea. All rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi access and feature a private bathroom. “A piece of heaven in saint-jean-de -luz”
the location is fabulous . we had the upstairs of a villa and the views where spectacular. the villa is spotless . beautiful well kept mature garden and pools. the bed and pillows so comfy we both slept well . the bathroom is huge and again spotlessly clean . breakfast was varied and plentiful and the owner Philippe and his team where friendly and helpful .

“Good quality hotel with some annoying points”
The location was excellent for us, on the edge of town near small beaches. We cycled into the main town (mostly car free route, but hilly and very busy with cyclists/pedestrians) the hotel also had a bus stop right outside. The concierge was very helpful, arranging dinner bookings and bike storage for us. The hotel itself and the garden was beautifully maintained with a pool for each house and a heated pool in front of the main house. Our room was huge with a lobby, dressing room and a great bathroom as well as the bedroom. We had a patio area, accessible from the bedroom and the bathroom

“Beautiful place with some flaws”
The view is spectacular, you can see and sometimes listen to the sea from almost everywhere. In front of the sea there are some beautiful green hills and some beautiful little pools. The whole "resort" is beautiful in general. Some architect designed each house and room quite well.

The property itself was beautiful and really well thought out. A family run business since 2013 they have crafted 3 beautiful Villas with a forth in progress. Its location is ideal if you want a short drive to both San Sebastián or Biarritz.
