“Marvellous Find Off The Beaten Track”

Beautiful location up a winding track off the Col du Chat with stunning views. The accommodation is much cosier than the photos suggest, with great new bathroom and clean modern rooms with a hint of alpine wood. Super comfy beds, good bed linens. Slept like a log in the peaceful surroundings. We stayed in studio 3 and ate in their excellent restaurant, lovely food and good value for the 41 Euro menu. Local Savoie produce a speciality, excellent local wine. The view from the bar terrace is to die for!

The hotel was independent and family run. Very clean and exceptionally friendly service. The food was all locally sourced and well presented. Dinner was a three course set menu, all of which was delicious. Breakfast included home made brioche, local yogurt and home made preserves.

For us the quiet location was perfect and the views stunning. Both the breakfast and dinner were excellent with locally sourced products and home made bread. One of our continual complaints in hotels is the lack and inaccessibility of light sockets, in our room at La Source they were plentiful and we were both able to charge multiple devices simultaneously.

Incredible location at the top of the Col du Chat. The views were magnificent.The owner was welcoming but didn’t show us to our room. The room was spacious- in the process of being transformed into an apartment. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast, served at table, was delicious with homemade bread and brioche and jams. The coffee , although from a local roast house, was a bit weak.

Very comfortable appartement and well equipped. All equipments are in very good quality. The kitchen, the bathroom and the beds ….very comfortable . Clean and nice. Good and healthy breakfast with nice service

Couldn't cycle up the hill because of my lack of exercise and had to walk the bike to the top. Would use a car next time. Eventually, the scene was stunning and definitely worth the effort

The hosts are just the nicest people. They have a great passion for sourcing local. I had a lot of questions about the area and they were very helpful. Great view from the room which was very comfortable. The bar has an absolutely stunning view.

The hotel is very quiet, tucked away high up overlooking a beautiful Savoy valley. The meals are well prepared using all local ingredients. The chef is passionate about using locally sourced foods. In late September, we were the only ones staying at the hotel.
