Everything about this place is lovely, the house, the garden, the plunge pool, the environment, the room, the bed... but the real treat was meeting David and Nelly. They are generous, warm, friendly and very interesting people to talk to. Lastly the food must be mentioned. The breakfast is typical french with excellent ingredients and the dinners at night were exceptionally imaginative and masterly executed. We will return here!

We loved everything!!! Very nice and kind owners, they helped us with very late check in and ensured we feel comfortable. The villa looks stunning and has a beautiful history. The apartment was very big, clean, cosy snd decorated with taste (and such cosy pillows). Great French breakfast, fresh and tasty. The pool looks great and is very clean. And the area is also very beautiful and worth visiting, 10-20mins to winery, an old village and a castle. Please save few hours, fully pays off. Safe park on site. Would love to come back!

The hosts Nelly and David are the most welcoming and caring. The rooms are beautiful and spotless. You can see a lot of care went into renovating this property. It shows attention to detail and reflects their love for traveling. Upon request they prepare a very tasty 3 course meal. We loved the home made and locally sourced fresh products. We will definitely be back.

I felt so welcome and invited - First and foremost by the charming hosts, but also by the atmosphere of the guesthouse. A building beautifully renovated, with a lot of stories and soulful ambience. The ultimate holiday feeling, completed by delicious breakfast and dinner served under a gorgeous olive tree. (Bonus: Great for cycling experiences on gravel or road, right at the doorstep.)

Perfect breakfast with home made touches that made the stay feel very personal compared to the vast majority of hotel options. We also had the optional evening meal which was spectacular with amazing sauces and local produce - highly recommended.

During my cycling trip, I took a detour to stay at Les Baroudeurs de Saint Jean for one night, and once I arrived, I didn't want to leave. The hosts welcomed me warmly, and the dinner we shared was simply delicious. The ambiance was charming, my room was both cozy and luxurious, and the breakfast was excellent. It felt like visiting dear friends or family, making it a highlight of my trip.
