“Great budget option”

Great location with direct access to beach. Hosts were excellent, responded quickly . Apartment had everything we needed and was very clean. Full kitchen was helpful as restaurants are pricey. We spent a week relaxing on the beach. Sunset platform utilized every day for morning coffees and a glass of wine at sunset.

Perfect beach location, grocery stores and amenities within walking or bus distance. The suite has everything you could need or want for your stay. Watch the sunsets everyday from your patio! I lived in my swimsuit most of the time!

Perfectly located selfcontained 1 bed apartment with direct access to the beach. The apartment is very clean, well thought of and has everything you would ever need. The hosts are lovely, helpful and very accomodating.

Clive was a wonderful host & was very eager to ensure that we were comfortable & had everything we needed and even kindly arranged a half day island tour! This well equipped self contained flat is located below his own home, but is totally private. The highlight however is definitely the location…. It is literally on the beach (separated securely by just a wall with a locked gate) which is totally safe it - benefitting from security guards of the next door hotel on the public beach. Clive kindly lent us beach chairs & we enjoyed the perfect sunset photos with affordable cocktails from the friendly beach bar. Westskye is really the perfect place to be for budget conscious travellers. Thank you Clive!!

Location is amazing, you can pretty much fall out onto the beach. Clive and his family are brilliant hosts, super helpful and the apartment is a really great location within walking distance of Holetown. There are two good beach bars within a really short walk, and the sunsets are incredible every single night!

“A peaceful beachside retreat with everything we needed and the warmest hosts.”

A wonderful little apartment with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The place was spotlessly clean, and we even received a welcome gift of fresh mangos - a thoughtful personal touch that made us feel immediately at home. The bed was cosy, the kitchen well-equipped for self-catering, and the Wi-Fi was strong and reliable (even if we barely used our phones because we were too busy relaxing!). Our hosts were a lovely family, with an adorable dog, who went above and beyond to help with anything we needed, including offering lifts when needed. One of my favorite parts was making breakfast and enjoying it on the patio with a beautiful view of the beach. The nearby bus stop made getting into the city center easy, and we always felt safe returning. The real bonus was the private entrance to the beach, you could be lying on the sand within minutes. Ideal for couples or solo travelers looking for a peaceful escape and a place that feels less like a tourist spot and more like a home away from home. Just what we needed.

“The perfect spot in St James”

I had previously stayed at a different side of the island and St James is the swanky part of town. The beach adjacent to the property was terrific and when snorklling, you can see small fishes close to the beach. The apt was kitted out with appliances I wouldn't have expected, including blender. There was even a place to catch a sunset view

Brilliant location with private access to a beautiful public beach would alone be 10 stars worthy, but in combination with amazing hosts makes it a 11+ star spot!

Clive and his family were great and so accommodating. The location was perfect and the back yard had a private entrance right down to the beach front. Good restaurants nearby and a short bus ride or 30 minute walk to the supermarket. The apartment had everything you could possibly need and more. Great value for money!

“Fabulous holiday in a great apartment with wonderful hosts.”

The location of this apartment was wonderful, through a gate, along a little path, through another gate and we were on the beach next to the Fairmont. The buses went along the road behind the house, so it was easy to travel to Holetown and Speightstown for shopping and eating out.

“Warm Welcome”

The host and family were wonderful. Very welcoming and caring. As a solo traveller I felt safe and very comfortable. Nice, compact, cool space. Slept so well. Stone throw to the beach so woke up and swam every morning. Perfect time for swim because no direct sun so spent hours in the warm water. Close to shops, restaurants and friendly nieighbours. Bus stop just outside so easy to tour around the island. Loved the hosts, looked after me so well. Really appreciated their kindness. Definitely somewhere I would return. The sounds of the waves at night added to my amazing sleeps and beautiful experience. So grateful 🙏

Location was perfect in the middle of the west coast right on a fantastic beach which wasn’t busy. The owners were really friendly and happy to help with anything. I would highly recommend for a stay in Barbados!

We loved it here, quirky, compact, and so close to the most beautiful beach . You could rent sun loungers and umbrellas there. There’s a great beach bar/cafe nearby and local buses stop very near.
