Well equipped property, owners have thought about what you might need in a self catering apartment including (in our case) some cold beers on arrival! Plenty of room. Flexibility with check in and check out times as there were no guests staying immediately before or after us. Owners helped us locate a hire car for our stay, most firms didn’t have availability.

I don't usually write reviews but felt compelled to after an amazing stay with Winston & Pat. Very accommodating hosts, really well equipped apartment and fantastic location. Felt secure with easy access to an amazing beach a short walk away. We had such a fantastic trip and would not hesitate to recommend staying in this accommodation to anyone.

The spaciousness of the apartment inside and out and the lovely pool. So near to a beautiful beach and various well-reviewed restaurants which cater for all budgets; some only a short walk away. A local shop is just around the corner from the apartment which provides basics and far cheaper than the large supermarket as is the petrol station further up the road which has a mini shop and has some decent take away food. John and Pat are exceptional hosts and their friendliness and helpfulness goes beyond their role which ensured we had a memorable time.

Beautiful property set back from the main road in tranquil surroundings with a beach at the end of there road. A splash pool to cool down in and a wonderful terrace for breakfast and evening drinks. We were also lucky enough to see a family of monkeys on 3 out of 7 mornings of our stay. Our hosts were great and very helpful. Booked our transfers to the airport there and back. We even some lovely Easter cake on arrival and fish cakes later in the week - Thank you both.

The property was very comfortable, spacious and offered all the facilities we could possibly need. The location is great and the hosts were very attentive, keeping in touch with us ahead of our stay and offered us a really warm welcome on arrival. They also shared lots of local knowledge and information to help us make plans and maximise our stay.

Excellent hosts and accommodation. Only a 5 min walk to Paynes Bay beach with the added bonus that apartment was secluded tucked away in a residential area. The apartment was very well equipped, clean and very spacious. The small pool was an added bonus which the kids really loved. John and Pat were excellent hosts - super helpful and friendly. John took us in his own car to the local supermarket on arrival so we could stock up on food. John arranged taxis for sightseeing as needed and even let us check out very late on our last day in Barbados so we could maximise our enjoyment of Paynes Bay. Price we paid was also very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Lovely spacious, clean and homely. It had everything we needed.

The hosts are very generous and friendly, even taking us to the grocery store to get the kitchen stocked for our visit. The apartment was spotless and has beautiful outdoor spaces. It is clearly very well cared for. The check-in and out went smoothly.

The owners of the house are Pat and John. They were exeptionally kind. We arrived in the dark and they were there to greet us, even taking us to the local supermarket in Holetown to shop for provisions, waiting in the car whilst we shopped. We then got a guided tour of the town. Two days later, on my birthday, they arrived bearing gifts of fruit and wine. Shortly after, Pat arrived with a fish breakfast. We would call them superhosts. If you want a touch of Bajan hospitality, living in a community of local residents as opposed to an anodine hotel room, you couldn't do much better than Anwin Apartments. Though somewhat dated (but that's part of its charm) the house is exceptionally well equipped, in a safe location a 5 minute walk from Paynes Beach. Our feeling is that your holiday will be enhanced if you have a car. Be warned of the roads though: they are strewn with potholes.

The 2 bedroom appartment is a little dated as others have observed. Everything worked fine, however so this is purely cosmetic. The welcome was wonderful - Winston talked us home on arrival when we got a little turned-around in our hire car. He spent an hour with us telling us about the Island and about what to see and where to go. The property has plenty of space - the patio is great and the pool very lovely to cool off in. There is a BBQ there for your use and we cooked out on a couple of evenings. The property is situated a bout 5 mins walk from Paynes Beach - downhill to get there; uphill coming home. The beach is pretty good although not huge - certainly great for a swim in the Carribean.

Our second visit to Annwin, this 2 bedroom apartment offers home from home accommodation including a garden with a small pool in a quiet residential area close to /5 -10 minutes walk from Paynes Bay beach. The hosts John and Pat are simply amazing ! They cant do enough for you and are warm and super helpful. We cant thank them enough for their help and generosity when our flight was cancelled last minute this visit.

The Annwin apartment suited my needs, down the ground! Lovely 2 bedroom place with sitting and dinning areas inside. But, it is the patio, courtyard and plunge pool that makes this place so special. Smashing to sit and read, sunbathe, relax. On top of that our host, John was incredibly helpful and kind.

Property is large and was so much more than we expected. It's a traditional property, so if you're after ultra-modern it won't be for you but there's everything you could need. A little off the main track but this made it very peaceful and is in a very safe location. Hosts, John & Pat, were fantastic and couldn't be more welcoming and helpful; even providing a flying fish breakfast one morning which was yummy! All in all this is a marvellous property to stay at with owners that couldn't be better.
