“Wonderful stay at Annwin Annex”

My partner, Dave, and I have recently returned from a wonderful 2 week holiday at Annwin Annex. The location was perfect for us...a lovely, peaceful residential area where the only 'noise' comes from the local cockerells or green monkeys squabbling over a mango (don't worry, they don't come too close)! There is about a 5 minute walk down to the road that runs along the coast where you can catch a blue or yellow bus either up as far as Speightstown or down to Bridgetown. Holetown is about 10 mins bus trip. There is a small beach with sunbeds just across the road, or Paynes Bay main beach is just a further 10 mins walk where there are more facilities including Gazebo bar & grill. Annwin Annex is spotlessly clean, comfortable, spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need...like a home from home. There is a great little terrace for relaxing outside with table, chairs, umbrella, loungers. As for the hosts, John and Pat, they could not have been more welcoming and so kind. They genuinely seem to take joy in making their guests' holiday as wonderful as possible. After arriving on a Sunday evening, John picked us up in his car and took us to a local supermarket. We also found occasional gifts of cake and fresh mangos on the table on our terrace. They leave their guests to enjoy their holiday in privacy, but with the knowledge that they are available and happy to help with anything you might need. I would highly recommend a stay at Annwin Annex and we would definitely love a return visit as soon as possible. Thank you John and Pat x

Lovely property in a quiet and secluded residential area, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nice patio area to dine alfresco and relax. Short 10 minute walk to the beach nearby and a further 5 minutes to st paynes bay.

Spacious & comfortable apartment, well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The hosts were welcoming, friendly & helpful. They gave us lots of tips on local places to visit and activities in the area. We enjoyed having our evening meals on the terrace. We had a car, but a short walk down the road to the beach and regular buses, would make it easy without a car. We had a lovely 5 day stay here and if we could have stayed longer we would have done!

I would say it all started with John. He was so helpful! He drove us to get our food on the first night! He had stocked up the apartment FAR more than what was advertised. He was an absolute gem, lovely apartment, felt safe and so close to the beach. Will DEFINITELY be returning!

The location and property were very good for our needs, well positioned, it was comfortable, clean and tidy, with an excellent level of equipment provided for self catering accommodation. The owner John was an excellent host going above and beyond our expectations.

I don’t know where to start! I have had the most amazing stay at Annwin Annex where everything exceeded my expectations. It was like a home from home and so relaxing, yet not too far from the sea and close to a number of good restaurants. Both Winston and Pat were absolutely delightful and attentive, I cannot thank them enough for their wonderful hospitality and kindness. I am looking forward to returning next year!

Location is very handy for nearby beaches, supermarket, restaurants etc (we had a car but there are also buses nearby too, and it’s a short walk into town). The hosts are absolutely wonderful - very kind and interesting and they ensure you have everything you need. The surroundings are safe and quiet and the apartment itself is spacious and has all you need.

This place was really comfortable with all the amenities to feel like home. Location is amazing as well and the owners are really friendly and try to make your stay very comfortable. I ended up staying longer than anticipated and felt really comfortable all through my stay.
