“We enjoyed exploring the unique marais poitevin and surrounding towns and villages .”
Excellent varied and healthy breakfast . Willingness of hosts to give recommendations for good restaurants and to successfully make table reservations which was important as a lot of restaurants not available outside weekend ; alternatively our hosts provided an excellent dinner.

The location was great. In the middle of lovely villages and superb countryside. Quiet country roads, ideal for cycling and not too far from the velodicee to cycle to La Rochelle or towards the north. Lovely rivers and canals to canoe or boat on. Denis and Isobella were fantastic hosts and great cooks. Cycling all day, sitting in the sun and a fantastic meal in the garden to round tbe day off. The accomodation was so welcoming , comforotable and clean. We did not want to leave
