Overview
Set in front of the harbour, TERNELIA Le Vent Du Large is a holiday park, located 800 metres from the centre of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and 150 metres from the beach. It offers free WiFi, a panoramic terrace and a restaurant with magnificent views of the Marina. The rooms in the Bâbord building are accessible by a lift and a staircase leads to the Tribord building and feature a wardrobe, a tablet and a private bathroom with a shower (cleaning done every 3 days in the room). Some rooms are suitable for guests with reduced mobility. A TV is provided in each room. A buffet breakfast is served every morning at the holiday village TERNELIA Le Vent Du Large. Guests are invited to enjoy regional meals for lunch and dinner (community restaurant to be reserved in advance). A ticket office for the Ile d'Yeu and the Vendée Miniature museum is available at the reception of the holiday village. This property is 27 km from Sables-d’Olonne and 2 km from Saint-Gilles Train Station.

“Lovely restful few days before week with son and his family locally.”
Location excellent, the reason we booked this place. Overlooking harbour, and a short walk to the beach was great for my husband who has mobility problems. Room clean, compact and comfortable, very quiet. Garden was wonderful as there was a heatwave but sitting under the pine trees there was always a breeze. Breakfast simple but plentiful. Prices of drinks at bar very reasonable. Staff helpful and pleasant.

Great location to the beach. Exceptionally friendly staff. So impressed with them especially the breakfast lady, the outside bar, the reception man when we arrived.

Unfortunately this place is now mostly a retirement village/ nursing home, so even tho our room was clean, although very small, there was no breakfast lunch or dinner available as we were led to believe
