“Calm place with stunning view”

Everything was great, territory is awesome, you can see mountains from the windows inside house and from garden as well. There’s everything what you need for bbq. There’s river near and not a lot of neighbours what made it very calm place. Also there’s all equipment in house what you may need, as coffee machines with capsules, dishwasher with capsules, washing machines. Highly recommended.

The chalet is virtually brand new, a small, very clean and fully equipped 2 bedroom house on the outskirts of Saint-Gervais, only about 5 minutes by car from the town centre. The interior is very tastefully decorated and utilises all the space effectively considering its size. There are all the kitchen appliances you may need and even a dishwasher and a washing machine which was brilliant. The beds are comfortable however we didn’t realise how low the ceilings were going to be, this wasn’t clear from the listing photos. We are not a particularly tall family but we all banged our heads on the wooden frames daily. This was the only big drawback for me, having to duck down throughout the upstairs and not having a toilet upstairs was a little inconvenient. Outside there is a fabulous jacuzzi which is very well maintained and you can see the foothills of Mont Blanc Massif whilst sat in the tub at night which is glorious. There were 5 of us there for a week for skiing. 2 adults, 2 teens and a child and it was a squeeze for space so I would say it’s for four people maximum. Despite the size, we had a lovely stay.

We enjoyed this stay very much. It was even decorated for Christmas, which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend it, and we will be back

“Relaxing stay in beautiful, peaceful surroundings.”

Quiet private location with easy parking and beautiful views with a stream at the end of the garden. St Gervais is a few minutes drive away and has great facilities and a fantastic Thursday weekly market. A new hot tub is a bonus after a big day of walking, thank you Jessica for welcoming us so warmly and being so kind and helpful.
