The pictures are of two separate gîtes so make sure you know what you’re booking. We’re doing a two-week tour of France and this was one of our nicest stop offs so far (on a budget). The shower was the best we’ve had, and the kitchen, bathroom etc are all beautifully decorated. Added bonus was that the closest village: Jonzac, had a food festival from 6.30pm (and it’s every Weds during summer) which we’d highly recommend. Great food, music, and wine stalls - only €5 euros a bottle of rosé - bargain! We didn’t meet our host but had good responses to messages if we needed him.

The unit was beautifully decorated, had all the essentials and was very comfortable. If I could rate it more I would, it was perfect. Easy to find out in the countryside and very peaceful.
