“French village charm close to Lyon”
We really loved our stay at Le Clos saint Genois. It was exactly the sort of accommodation that we seek when travelling - full of character, a superb pool and located in a delightful small village. Laurence, who was caring for the home in the absence of the owners, was the jewel in the crown. She did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable, yet was discrete. We spent one evening playing cards with her and her daughter, and that really finished a superb three days. Comfortable and full of French charm, the home is a peaceful haven, yet within easy walking distance of St Genis Laval and a short drive to Lyon.

Excellent place to stay in a very nice old style house. Nice simple breakfast each morning. "Front" gate is not very obvious when arriving after dark though!
