“A Dreadful Unwelcoming Place.”
The sheets were dirty We were going to a funeral and needed a taxi or a bus to get there but were told there would be no taxis available, here's a list ring them yourself "will they speak English" "I don't know". " Can we take a bus?" "There are buses outside". "Which one? How often do they go?" A shrug. The heating was not on in the bedroom. I told the receptionist but he said it was on. He reluctantly agreed to come up to see and then conceded it was not on. I asked for a Ricard at the bar and the barman looked at me as if I had two heads and had to get help. You have to boil your own eggs.

Lady on reception was nice and welcoming at check in. That was it and all downhill from there.

Restaurant was fabulous (33Euros for a top notch 3 course dinner!) and fab breakfast buffet… clean rooms, very friendly staff - can’t fault it really!

“We would defintely stay here again if we needed to break our journey.”
The room was comfortable, well equipped for a business stay with plug sockets etc (not that we needed them), good shower. We ate both nights in the restaurant which was excellent. The waitress was very helpful and attentive.

Nicely updated family room, comfy beds. Blissful air con as it was so hot outside. We had dinner in the hotel and our waitress was friendly&helpful. She didn't mind that I spoke poor French&she had a little English which also helped. Often I find French service very brusque (bordering on rude by Irish standards) but she was great-friendly& patient. She was very helpful when I needed gluten free dining options, which meant we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal- the first time I've ever had that in France. Food was tasty and hearty. We are Irish&it would be what we would consider country farmhouse style cooking. Which was ideal for us traveling with a small child. Nearby bars have a fab view across the countryside & are a great place for a drink. Try cafe 50.

The restaurant is great, and I might guess this is one of the most popular restaurants in the city! Every day is fully booked. The dishes a great!

“Perfection”
Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend and I wanted a relaxing few days to escape from a busy working world. From start to finish our stay was exactly that. The hotel, room, view, food and pool were exceptional. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast included was an absolute bargain and a lovely way to start the day too. It is quite isolated so I'd reccomend getting a car if you want to visit other parts of the island. We Will definitely be returning!
