Set in a pedestrianised area, Residhotel St Etienne Centre provides furnished apartments and studios in the historic part of Saint Etienne. reasonable room, at excellent central location, within walking distance of Hotel de Ville, terraces, Telecom St Etienne (Cite de Design). Excellent tram within 2 minutes; train station within 10-15minutes walk. Friendly staff who accommodated me arriving late (11.45pm) and printed flight boarding passes. Only downside is that it was quite noisy in the middle of the night, due to some night owls in the street (next time, I would definitely ask for a non-street side room) I did not use the kitchenette in the room, nor the breakfast service of the hotel (it is simply too hard to compete with boulangeries where one can also people watch). I would definitely come back and, next time, explore the city more (I was here for a conference)

“Terrific value if you're on a budget, with friendly staff. Shame there is no Air conditioning.”
For the price I was really impressed with the "apartment" which had a double bed in one room and twin beds in the kitchen/living room. It's really basic but did the job. The concierge was also really helpful, so 10 out of 10 for the staff. Please note that this is a very cheap hotel so for this price you can't expect it to be the Ritz!

Had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay!
