In a very quiet and peaceful location, yet only a few minutes drive from Baigorri. Lot of walking opportunities nearby. Hotel was very comfortable and Arno the host is very friendly and helpful. Great Basque hospitality.

Superb location, a small paradise. Amazing terrasse. Super friendly host, very layed back. Breakfast has everything you need. Self-service meals and drinks are available in the evening.

We loved the vending machine full of homemade food and local drinks! It was awesome how everything was automated and convenient, yet the property was still very homely and welcoming.

Lovely place, great for hikers. Friendly and proactive owners. Big shower. Comfortable bed. Sound of river whilst sleeping. Good breakfast, possibility to purchase and heat evening meal. Can provide sandwich for lunch. Friendly large dog (on terrace) that’s like a small bear! Fresh free range eggs for breakfast.

Beautiful place. So quiet and beautiful and great beds!! The area is so beautiful and it was such a pleasure spending some time there. The breakfast was very good with fresh warm bread, amazing local salami and eggs from their own hens. Easy drive to Saint Pied De Port. The owner is very friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.

the location was charming and easy for hiking. The room was comfortable and a great breakfast. the beat thing about the property was the hosts! when we arrived they prepared a small plate as we hadn’t had lunch. they recommended a great restaurant for dinner and because we were on foot and it was over 30 minutes away, they drove us to it! We very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

“Charming country inn”

The restaurant, especially the outside terrace, is the main feature and obviously draws a lot of business from locals. The setting, tucked away in the hills outside Saint-Étienne-de-Baïgorry, is rural and tranquil. The room was simple but had everything needed including a generous sized bathroom.
