“Great welcoming place to explore the Pays Basque and its mountains.”
Baigorri is a little gem in the French Pays Basque, maybe not as famous as other towns nearby but full of life and places to stroll on. Maison Graciateguy is a welcoming place, halfway between B&B and hostel, as many visitors stop on their trekking journeys or cycle routes. "Paco" is a great host, offering you anything you need in a really friendly way. We had dinner on the first day and it was a beautiful experience, sharing the table some other guests. Rooms are clean and tidy with little bathrooms ensuite. The place is located at the heart of Baigorri, right next to the town council where there is a little museum with the history of the Basque Country, and to the Fronton Cafe, where there are great local beers and some good food too. Great place to stay, thank you very much Pascal and Karine.

“Good clean room with good bathroom for overnight stay during a motorcycle tour.”
We did not have breakfast here so cannot comment. The room however was comfy and clean and there was an excellent pizzeria next door for food.

“Small town with fresh chocolate”
Small town vibe. Watched a local sports game with a ball.and scoop throwers played in the local square, had chocolate at the fresh roasted chocolatiers and enjoyed being in the mountains.

I was in room 1, which was spacious, nicely appointed and had a decent sized shower room area... And a little balcony. The welcome was very friendly, the dinner was excellent and the breakfast set me up well for another day hiking. My stay at Maison Graciateguy was just what I needed - thank you!

“Home comforts”
Beautiful house on the GR10. Host Pascal was very friendly and we felt welcome. The place has a lot of character. The lovely home cooking was just what we needed after a day of hiking. Bed was comfy and we slept very well.

We felt very welcome and at home! We booked this room last minute as the weather was too bad to stay in the tent: it was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was exactly what we needed before a day of walking!

“Top spot”
Very responsive host even with a late booking. Huge bedroom! There was a safe place to leave my bicycle. The hosts lent me some tools to fix my bicycle, which was very kind of them. Breakfast was excellent!
