Charming hotel in bucolic countryside with heavenly gardens. The hosts are sweet and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The mattresses are divine. Short drive to the beach and GR for hiking. Haven't stayed anywhere so relaxing in years.

We spent five nights with my family at the Hostelerie de la Motte jean. Our studio was very charming, located in a building dating back to the beginning of the eighteenth century. It was lovely furnished and boasting a big terrace overlooking the park. The hotel is located inside a beautiful park, with a garden and a little pond. The place is ideal to rest and relax, but at the same time is just a few minutes by car from Cancale as well as from the wonderful Gueslin beach. Breakfast is delicious, providing guests with homemade bread and crêpes, as well as local jams, honey, chocolate spread, and more. The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are fair.

The garden and terrace in front of the house were lovely for sitting in and the whole place had a wonderful air of peace and calm.

Like the location between Cancales and Saint Malo. It not far from the Mont Saint Michel neither. The property is very good maintained. The garden is marvelous. Staff is friendly and polite.

Close to the rather less attractive surroundings of Cancale one felt like in the country. A beautiful building within beautifully kept gardens & a very charming, slightly old-fashioned atmosphere. Very good breakfast, served at the table (what a luxury!).

Really fantastic garden, pretty cozy place, friendly staff who really want to help impressed us with kindness and flexibility. Rooms are decorated with antique details and paintings like in a museum, from which we could not take our eyes off.… Wonderful bad!

The best hotel we have ever stayed in Brittany region! Very beautiful garden, very good quality furniture, bed is very comfortable, even curtains are very good quality, all decorations inside are very antique style and cute, breakfast is in a very beautiful tea room, with Garden view, definitely recommend!

Accommodation is very quiet with good connections to surrounding attractions such as St Malo, Cancale, Mt Saint Michel. Very clean rooms and breakfast is excellent.

The whole property is simply gorgeous. The garden invites you to relax and recharge your batteries. There are seating and relaxing areas and it is extremely calm - it felt as if we were the only guests. We got a room with a balcony facing the beautiful garden. Also, we arrived very early before noon and the owner already allowed us to check in earlier.

The Hostellerie is, indeed, a fine property in a nice location. The house itself is well kept, all clean and tidy, with quality furnishings, some very interesting artefacts and paintings.
