“A few days spent in St Clar is like traveling in the past”

The owner is charming… the place is clean… the breakfast excellent. The word ”autrefois “ describes perfectly the decor and the atmosphere of the whole place. Back to the future!

“Autrefois La Modiste is a perfect stay for somewhere off the beaten path with plenty of character”

Absolutely loved our stay with Mme Yannick. Charming village, incredibly unique building and even home-made jam from her local allotment! Despite our minimal French, Mme Yannick was very welcoming and ensured we had the best time. The value for money is also superb
