Le Mas de Laval exceeded our expectations in every respect. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable, and the hosts were wonderful - friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend this beautiful place and will hopefully return one day soon.

“Beautiful place to stay with stunning views”
Fabienne and Guy are absolutely wonderful hosts and they have a beautiful home in the best location. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was lovely with great toiletries. The view from our window out onto the open field and woodland was a joy to wake up to every morning with deer grazing and so many different types of birds. The pool was a great area to lie and soak up some rays or sit and read a book and have a dip. Plenty of comfortable loungers and chairs to relax on. Breakfast in the morning was really good with croissant, fresh warm bread, cheese, yoghurt and jams and honey washed down with coffee or tea and freshly squeezed orange juice. Fabienne and Guy are really hospitable and have us ideas for excellent restaurants and places to visit in the area. They also invited us for drinks one evening and we spent a lovely couple of hours chatting, drinking wine and eating olives, pate and cured sausage. It was such a touch and their grand children were there also and it was so interesting speaking with them all. They really made you feel at home and part of the family but never intrusive. Just very relaxed.

“wonderful vacation”
We have stayed in Le Mas de Laval for four nights and loved every moment. A beautifully designed room with a lot of thought invested in it. The location is amazing, a beautiful farmhouse, elegant, just outside St. Cirq Lapopie, which is set in a quiet and green relaxing nature view all around. Fabienne & Guy are charming and warm welcoming. They are perfect hosts, making us feel so welcomed into their beautiful home. For breakfast, we had fresh orange juice, home made jams, local cheese as well as freshly baked Home Made crispy bread. Fabienne and Guy shared with us their local area recommendations for excellent sites. Coming back in the evenings for a nice relaxing rest and reading by the pool was an added bonus including following the wild deers and hares in the surrounding meadow. We had a wonderful vacation experience!

“An amazing stay!”
This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. The location is amazing , a beautiful traditional farmhouse just outside St Cirq which has been renovated to the highest of standards. Fabienne and Guy were perfect hosts, making us feel so welcomed into their beautiful home. Our room was just fabulous and the attention to detail better than a lot of the five star hotels we have stayed in. For breakfast, we had freshly squeezed orange juice, home made jams, some delicious local cheese as well as some freshly baked home made bread. Fabienne was able to share her vast knowledge of the local area with us and her recommendations for restaurants were spot on. Coming back in the evenings for a nice relaxing swim in the pool was an added bonus. We will definitely return!!

“The best place to stay in France!”
Absolutely exquisite. We were greeted at parking and taken to our room. The room was one of a kind. It was gorgeous in every way possible. Such a quiet area and a beautiful view to the forest in front. The host was a gem. She had booked us a dinner reservation which we were so thankful for! The bed was comfortable & the bathroom was stunning. Very romantic place to stay! The host did her best to speak Spanish to us too which was so sweet!! There are so many unique little touches to make it feel like home. Wonderful hosts!! The breakfast was spectacular. This is as authentic as it comes. An amazing spread of bread and jams, all homemade!! The hosts then told us all the great spots we should go to around the city.

The owners were incredibly helpful and informative about the region, giving us plenty of advice on areas to visit and where to buy excellent wine. Fabian puts on an excellent breakfast spread and we loved their dog Jack!
