“Excellent. I rarely write reviews but Maison Normande and Thierry and Mathieu fully deserve 10/10.”
Breakfasts and evening meals are prepared by two very good chefs with local produce and who obviously love their job. Their meals are very individual and they accomodated my vegetarian wife very well. Thierry and Mathieu are very friendly and welcoming. Our room and the house were very clean and comfortable and they have a pleasant and quiet garden to relax in at the end of the day. For hikers they provide a very good packed lunch and advice on walks. Some very nice hikes nearby with lovely views along the ridges and an easy gorge walk starts just near the house. I thought Maison Normande was exceptionally good value.

“A lovely B&B in a beautiful area”
Mathieu and Thierry gave us a warm welcome and were pleasant and attentive throughout our stay, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The property is located in a small, quiet hamlet, with good views all round of the attractive, wooded valley it's in. This period house is tastefully modernised inside, really lovely and kept spotlessly clean throughout. Our room was very comfortable and we slept well. The food was very good and the table d'hôte meal we had on one of the evenings was delicious. This B&B offers good value for money and we would happily stay again.

“A perfect stay in a fantastic property with welcoming hosts! Food is out of this world.”
The outlook from the property is breathtaking. The property and gardens are so well kept. We absolutely loved dining on the terrace in the evenings. The food is incredible and plentiful. Possibly the best breakfast we have ever had! The rooms are well furnished and a good size. Views are amazing! Tim and Sarah are the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. They really made us feel relaxed and at home. They were very helpful and welcoming. We loved it and will certainly be returning!

Everything about our stay at the Maison Normande was excellent, we can't recommend it enough. The breakfasts are exceptional, including homemade bread and cakes. Tim and Sarah know the area extremely well and were very generous with their advice - we'll definitely be back for a longer stay soon
